At least 10 House Democrats who voted Sunday for health care overhaul have received violent threats to their lives or property, party leaders said today.
Connecticut Democrat on health reform: "More action and correction" coming soon.Several members have faced death threats and harassing phone calls while others have experienced vandalism at district offices or their private homes.
In one case, a gas line was cut outside the Virginia home of Rep. Tom Perriello's brother after a conservative activist posted the address online, mistakenly thinking it was the congressman's house. The Federal Bureau of Investigation is investigating.

But cutting someones gas line is dangerous.Yes it is, but my guess is the congressman cut his own line and counted on the MSM to spread the lie that his political critics did it.
Its one of the Leftists favorite tactics.

“I do wish the MSM was honest in their reporting.”
It won’t happen.
Since all Democrats lie, and the media is 97% Democrat, well, you know the result.

Well, you have to admit. It WAS different when they did it.
I mean, who could take a douchebag like this seriously?

“Their implication that good Democrats would never do anything like this against political opponents is demonstrably false. And the MSM should be called on it.”
Agreed!

Excellent, excellent point...they made a movie about the fictional assassination of President Bush. They celebrated it, enjoyed it, and I’m supposed to give a damn that some democrats are feeling ‘threatened’? Bah.
Shep Smith just played a so-called ‘threat’ left on Stupidpak’s voice mail. The woman said he was a piece of $&!# and that millions of people wished him ill. Is that really a ‘threat’? Wishing?
My first impulse is that most of these political rats are either lying or fabricating the events. They swore an oath to uphold the Constitution and violated that, so why wouldn’t they lie about being spat on or called a name?

For me to believe this, i want to see the specific threats. Otherwise it is made up BS because they know the people did not want this bill. Won’t help them without specific info.
These old hippies suffer from drug induced paranoia. Only the brain damaged could come up with this sh*t.

House Dems aren’t the least bit concerned that their health care vote threatens the Constitution, our freedoms, and our country’s future.
To: Kay Syrah
With all the stories on vile threats from the opposition that have appeared today, it appears that the predicate for more um, vigorous law enforcement is being laid.
It certainly fits with Obama's history as a community "activist". Look at the anger he incited against the banks to get his way, look at the anger he incited at the insurance and pharmaceutical companies to get his way.
What better way of gaining control of us than inciting or even creating some false anger and violence.

Glenn Beck had an interesting monologue on his TV show today that addresses this.
I don't know if it's still available online, but everyone should see/hear it.

Yes, and we, the Right, have a huge problem, this being the case. it's bad enough that we don't equal time, or, the time we get is used up by the liberal talking over the "polite" conservative. Too many spokesmen on the Right are terrible at making our case, and fighting to say what they mean to say. Talk radio isn't the answer, because it's already been defined as "biassed" (even though the MSM is just as biassed, they still project themselves as "objective", and too many listeners take them at face value). At this point talk radio is mostly preaching to the choir. We need articulate spokesmen who know how to fight their tactics without getting ruffled or sidetracked. I'm hoping Paul Ryan will be one of those, he was articulate in front of fellow congressman, but has he been tested under fire by a hostile (almost any mainstream media) interviewer?

Yup.
Gandi :”civil disobedience becomes a sacred duty when the state has become lawless and corrupt.”
There is no more a lawless and corrupt government on this planet than Barack 0bama’s Marxist regime. It's a very good thing when a corrupt, dictatorial government starts to fear the people.
