After Democratic lawmakers were targeted by death threats and vandalism, House Democrats met with members of the Capitol Police today to discuss security concerns.
Majority Leader Steny Hoyer and Majority Whip James Clyburn held a press conference this afternoon on Capitol Hill, saying members had raised concerns and that Capitol Police told them to address any suspicious activity around the Capitol.
"Any member who feels themselves at risk is getting attention from the proper authorities," Hoyer said. At least 10 Democratic lawmakers have complained of threats or other security concerns.

OK, I wrote to you the other day about Krauthammer [sp] saying Obama would most likely add a ‘universal’ tax or some such.
There are threads now about the VOR, or Value Added Tax. Have you read about that? He has to make money somehow but they said this would break his promise of no taxes.
I can’t keep up with all this crap anymore, pardon the language.
After all the stories I’ve read about how rude Dems and their staffs are to security and police.....

No way! I am one of those people and it wasn’t a threat, it was a verbal fax paus but they are making it out to be sinister. I have posted about it already and made light of my error but today it was all over FNC, about threats. Unbelievable.
