So I keep hearing this add on the radio, thinking, no, they wouldn't use someone of Asian decent to attack Toyota, but that lady sounds like it. I had to look it up. Yes, Government Motors is using a lady of Asian decent to make GM look better than Toyota.

This will only work for those that are stupid enough to buy from the automotive equivalent of Amtrack.

GM? - Just say no.

I would walk before I would purchase a vehicle made by the United Auto Workers.

Unless there is some evidence that the woman is lying, there is no reason why a person of Asian extraction can’t make a testimonial for GM over Toyota. As I recall, there were many Caucasians featured in Toyota ads for a long time, and GM has not had a major mechanical problem for a long time, so this is a good time for them to brag.

I still find it exceedingly strange that Toyota, a company with a proven record of excellence, should suddenly start producing garbage almost the minute the U.S. Government decides to go into the auto business. Don’t know anything about the advertisement in question, but having worked for the Feds for 30 years and after looking at their track record with such endeavors as the U.S. Postal System, I’ll still put my money on Toyota anytime.
