Former Toyota owners buy a Chevy Malibu
This will only work for those that are stupid enough to buy from the automotive equivalent of Amtrack.
GM? - Just say no.
I would walk before I would purchase a vehicle made by the United Auto Workers.
I guess they decided to downgrade...
Unless there is some evidence that the woman is lying, there is no reason why a person of Asian extraction can’t make a testimonial for GM over Toyota. As I recall, there were many Caucasians featured in Toyota ads for a long time, and GM has not had a major mechanical problem for a long time, so this is a good time for them to brag.
I still find it exceedingly strange that Toyota, a company with a proven record of excellence, should suddenly start producing garbage almost the minute the U.S. Government decides to go into the auto business. Don’t know anything about the advertisement in question, but having worked for the Feds for 30 years and after looking at their track record with such endeavors as the U.S. Postal System, I’ll still put my money on Toyota anytime.
I have a Shevy Cavilere tht gets 32 MPG and has 214K on it. The Malibu gets 33MPG
I beg to differ on your assertion....
GM Recalls Compact Cars to Fix Power Steering Assist
Safety Recall Covers 1.3 Million Chevrolet and Pontiac Models
·2005 - 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt
·2007 - 2010 Pontiac G5
·2005 - 2006 Pontiac Pursuit (Canada)
·2005 - 2006 Pontiac G4 (Mexico)
DETROIT — General Motors will conduct a safety recall of 1.3 million compact cars to replace a motor in the power steering system. Vehicles affected are the 2005-2010 Chevrolet Cobalt; 2007-2010 Pontiac G5; 2005-2006 Pontiac Pursuit sold in Canada, and the 2005-2006 Pontiac G4 sold in Mexico.
1. I disagree, but I'm too lazy to look up their recent recalls.
2. GM has a MAJOR management problem, as a result of which I will never buy GM again for as long as I live. Their current CEO is a communist and the enemy of my country, and I will not deal with Chrysler, GM, or any other company that received TARP/Bailout money. All of those companies are permanently dead to me.
Have there been any deaths reported that led to the GM recall? Or any hoax 911 calls? Recalls are a cost of doing business in car manufacturing, but until GM gets called before Congress to talk about power steering problems with the Cobalt, I will stick with assertion. It’s a metter of perspective.
Per your post, I believe a power steering malfunction IS a major mechanical problem.

Ordinarily, but under Government one can’t help but question the real motives, unless you trust your Government
