The backlash: Reform turns personal
politico ^ | 3/24/10 | JAKE SHERMAN & MARIN COGAN

Louise Slaughter and Bart Stupak have received death threats.

A tea party participant published what he thought was Thomas Perriello’s home address and urged disgruntled voters to “drop by” for a “good face-to-face chat.”

Vandals broke windows at Slaughter’s office in New York and Gabrielle Giffords’s office in Arizona.

And angry voters are planning to protest this weekend at the home of Steve Driehaus — who’s already seen a photograph of his children used in a newspaper ad published by reform opponents.

The vitriolic health care debate has become personal — too personal, say House Democrats who voted for the bill and now find not just themselves but their families in the cross hairs of opponents.

Ever wonder if they (Zero and gang) aren’t trying to provoke violence while they are “in charge”? Look what what’his name did for the Tion in Oklahoma City.

The Democrats thought the Tea Party
Was full of Milquetoast sycophants
But when they marched around the Capitol
It was the Democrats with a wad in their pants.

That is one of the libs favorite tactics. They try to use it to intimidate CCW holders pretty regularly. Turn about is fair play.

Since Congress wants to pretend they did’nt hear the will of the American people, collectively while in session...they’re goonna get the opportunity to do so personally, at home, in their districts. One -on-one...

Seems logical to me...

The kids are not responsible for any of this and should be left alone. I agree with you. If anything, they will be the ones hurt most by it.

I hear that...if we were using techniques like they did, there’s be constant rallies at the capital and at all congressional offices and homes, and we’d be having mass demonstrations whenever they tried to do something...this is small fry so far.

We are not professional protesters and have to spend at least some time at our jobs. I think we should be having at least monthly rallies though and continue to flood their offices with phone calls and emails.

And keep praying

Roofers have the tar. Who has the feathers?

I don’t have feathers but wouldn’t a box of
roofing nails work just as well?

Take it up in the courts and on election day ...

That hasn't been working out too well. In the mean time my kids and grandkids are being hearded into a lifetime of bondage.

There’s going to come a point we have to make hard decisions about priorities...including time and work...Easy for me to say, since I don’t have those constraints, but it’s something we’ll all have to make decisions on — I won’t badmouth anybody’s ultimate decision, but I do think I see shifting of priorities going on.

No. Tar and feathers is just right. Not too hard, not too soft, not too hot, not too cold. Just right.

Ok, maybe I’m just too twisted and harsh, how about
tar and fiberglass insulating wool?

Fiberglass might be a worthwhile innovation. That stuff itches like crazy.

About time there was damned anger on our side. For way too long we’ve allowed the left to run roughshod over us, this nation, our military and legally chosen leaders.

SUCH IT UP LEFTIES - how does it feel to have your own tactics used against you? Sucks don’t it? Oh, I feel so bad - NOT!!!!!
