I guess convicted felons don’t ever need to find jobs.

As far as I am concerned after taking bribes and pay-offs for their votes half the Democrats in Congress should be convicted felons.

The bill, sponsored by Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich...

Lay off poor John already. He's just trying to make sure his wife can still vote for him.

Looks like they might be walking a slippery slope with this one. If this passes and is upheld by the courts, by the same logic, “a civil rights issue and a matter of freedom” any felon released from prison should get their 2nd amendment right to own a gun reinstated.

The bill, sponsored by Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich

Conyers is the same constitutional illiterate that was quoting saying the "‘Good and Welfare Clause’ Authorizes Congress to Force Americans to Buy Health Insurance".

The Constitution makes the Electoral College vote the business of Congress. However, the Congress is not empowered by the Constitution to direct the states how to conduct voting as long as the states observe amendments 15, 19, and 24.

To add to the folly in Congress this constitutional putz is the House Judiciary Committee Chairman.

It is perfectly natural for unconvicted felons to seek the votes of convicted felons. Why not? They are essentially in the same line of work. People tend to vote for people like themselves.

That makes sense. Even though Obama hasn’t been convicted of his massive crimes against America, he must sympathize with murderers, rapists, and other criminals who like him impose their will on those they can overpower.

Forget amnesty

Ill-chosen headline, which isn't at all unusual for WND. But the content is interesting nonetheless.

I'm not sure about other states, but Idaho laws say that once you are done serving your sentence, all necessary probation or parole, you get all rights back (with one exception being the right to keep and bear arms - some felonies even get this right restored).

Personally, I'm of the opinion that if one has served all of one's time, and/or additional requirements and is no longer under probation or parole, you get all your rights back. If one could be deemed as too dangerous to have firearms anymore, why let them out? Either you are a free individual again, or you are not, no middle ground.

Always watch what the other hand is doing....they are deceptive and will fight from multiple fronts, many times from hidden areas.
