My choice in carry is either the 686+ or 640. Both loaded with 125 gr JHP (HydraShok). The comp revolvers and semi-autos are for target shooting and hunting. The 640 with shrouded hammer and the heft of stainless steel is controllable with .357mag. It keeps the pocket fuzz out of the action too.

When I carry a revolver it's a S&W M642 in 38sp in a pocket holster for my right front pocket. In cargo pants it just disappears. Otherwise I carry an XD 45 compact or an H&K P30 9mm both of those in a Crossbreed super tuck deluxe. Most comfy holster I've ever seen in my life. Know what comp gun is awesome to shoot? An EAA Match piece with a comp in 38 Super. Add a dot sight and it's just a blast.
