My speculation is that the original shows a different father than the man on whom Obama based his alleged autobiography. It could bear on his citizenship. But it iS important.

I still think it is Franklin Marshall Davis as the Father.
I have followed this closely since the beginning, mostly out of curiosity. I concluded that there are three facts:
The “Birth Certificate(s)” that have been made public are forgeries.
No valid birth certificate has been made available for public viewing.
Someone has gone to considerable effort and expense to ensure that the forged document is the only one ever to be seen.
All of the rest is speculation. My own is that Mr. Obama was born in Hawaii in 1961, but something in the vital records repository of the State of Hawaii, and perhaps in the passport files of the U.S. State Department, contain politically damaging information. This information, if revealed, would potentially destroy his viability as a candidate for high office, but may not make him Constitutionally ineligible.
It looks like they have covered their tracks pretty well, so we will probably never know.

I agree CBB. The more he fights to hide it, the more convinced I become that there is something to hide. It’s probably something just embarrassing like a different father, or his mother listing him as caucasian, but the lengths to which he has gone to prevent its’ disclosure, only makes people more determined to get it released.
But it does mean that there is SOME fact shown by the original that is worth $1 million to hide.
