Sen. Ben Nelson (D-Neb.) announced Monday evening that he would vote no on the health care reconciliation package that was approved Sunday by the House and is expected to hit the Senate floor on Tuesday.
Nelson, who was widely seen as the 60th vote to help Senate Democrats clear health care reform in December, stood by his vote for the underlying, $875 billion Senate bill. But he cited several problems with the reconciliation package

He has no honor.
Fat, bloated buffoon! Trying to get back in that pizza place in Lincoln.
Reported today that Ben was having the cars of protesters towed when they parked at his office in Miracle Hills of West Omaha.
It just a game those a$$holes play. He should be run out of Nebraska.
If this bastard is under some illusion that voting ‘No’ on “reconciliation” will somehow atone for his prior sins, he’s terribly mistaken. The legislation that he SUPPORTED is going to become the law of the land, whether he wants us to believe it or not.
The a$$hat moved his office there because he couldn’t take the protests at the old office. Who owns the office building? Is the owner having cars towed or Nelson.
Having the cars of protestors towed is going to help him how? one would have to ask. I suppose it is possible he thinks he has weasled out of his corner. Arrogance will do that.
He can leave anytime after Nov. 5, 2010.
Actually, does this matter now? The senate bill was approved by the house the impostor will sign it...the reconciliation bill is a joke...who needs it now.
Nelson isn’t fooling anyone.
We all know he has a pass from Reid now to vote as “right wing” as Coburn or DeMint until the end of his term, all to try to fool Nebraskans. “See? See? I’m so, so conSERVative again! See?” Only if Nelson’s vote is critically needed will he be un-freed — and his vote is NOT needed to get 51 on reconciliation.
Not. Fooling. Anyone.
Exactly, if they need 60 this cornhusker kickbacker will stand as strong as pro choice stupak
Remember the media hysterics when President Bush wanted to use reconciliation to get his judges confirmed.
Now we get silence from the lying corrupt ba$tard$ is the msm.
I hope Ben has a Murtha.
Good place for his office. He will need a miracle to win.
E-mail sent praying for his speedy retirement. Message sent, after Stoogepak no more faith in any rat demoncrat, RINO (GOOBER GRAHM, JOHN McCain)or any other idiot who cannot use reason and intelligence to defend their actions.
Screw em! Now we start the purge!
There will be 7 more Democrat “Moderatees” who will also vote against reconciliation. And it won’t make one bit of difference, which they already no.
Lieberman and Landrieu will be the next two “moderates” to announce.
You are right. If the Senate does nothing, its still the law of the land.
Don’t allow the Dems to muddy the waters by making YOU think this reconcilliation matters
Actions have consequences, Ben. Are you still getting booed out of restaurants? GOOD.
That’s going to last the rest of your life, loser.
