Fox is over. Cancel tv. If 1 million did and used the $55 a month savings to fund conservatives - we would have a warchest of close to $300 million to get our country back.

The congressional line dividing two districts literally runs down my neighborhood street.

My side of the road,Lamar Smith voted NO, but Lefty Lloyd Doggett across the street voted YES.

Yeah, the districts are funny here. McCaul was my congressman until I moved to the other side of MoPac, maybe 5 blocks away. Now Lamar Smith is my congressman. (At least they were both NO.)

You are absolutely wrong. You’re either a troll or your perceptions are so warped as to render your mind useless.

We watched Fox coverage all day yesterday. There were exactly four people who were happy it passed: Kirsten Powers, FNC rat pundit regular, so no surprise there; Juan Williams, same story as Powers; Geraldo Rivera, FNC’s Village Idiot; and I can’t think who the fourth one was but there was somebody else who was pleased. The rest of them were all either outright disapproving or very sceptical, and there was a lot of them on as the day moved through the proceedings.

What I focused on were the states where the Dems voted no. I could like in a state where the Dems and Repubs agree on most.

OREGON

Democrats — Blumenauer, Y; DeFazio, Y; Schrader, Y; Wu, Y.

We have four representatives to throw out with the bath water!

Let’s go!

Vacancies means there are vacancies, nothing more, nothing less. If a vacancy comes up beyond a certain amount of time before the next general election, a special election is held. Otherwise, they wait until the next general election. So how it works is that they suck it up. There is no way to have a replacement spring up instantly like a blade of grass when a congressman dies or suddenly steps down. Technically, it would be taxation without representation for the moment, but that expression did not originate as a result of vacancies. It resulted from taxes being levied by the king from afar on a people with no voice in the running of the country levying the tax.

I watched FNC election night. They were not cheerleading for zero. A handful were truly happy that a black was elected (seems racist to me), others were unhappy, and others were unhappy but acknowledged the historical significance of the election.

Unless you want to see a fair news network marginalize itself through extreme bias the way MSNBC has, I’d give second thought to blurting out apparaisals not founded in reality. Perhaps you could try to develop some objective observation skills.

Didn’t you watch the voting? There were no yes votes from pubs.

Cao voted yes on the House bill a couple months ago.

They did not shill for Hussein. They just didn’t shill for McCain, which is what y’all are actually upset about. Research done after the election showed that FNC was almost perfectly divided in the amount of positive coverage and negative coverage it gave McCain and Hussein.

We finally took BOR off our regular DVR schedule - just couldn’t stand him anymore. We quit Geraldo a couple years ago and I agree with you about Greta. I liked her coverage of Sarah Palin, but Greta does absolutely no investigation or research. She is constantly behind the curve and getting hosed by her lying interview guests.

It’s been well over a hundred years since anybody was elected to the presidency directly from the House.

Quantity of coverage and quality of coverage are two different things. Quality is a subjective judgement, and in my subjective judgement, Fox News in general gave a more positive quality of coverage to Hussein. The MSM gave President Bush lots of coverage, almost uniformly negative coverage.

That’s not true and isn’t even mathematically possible. I watched the time and the vote flow from right to left - twice. Of the 34 rat no votes, about 80% of them were already racked as “no” when the rats hit 216. I watched it very closely. After they hit 216, there were about 5-6 more that went No, that’s all.

There was a long stall when the remaining NV rats were still at about 30. The no votes were sitting at 206 - 209 for awhile while rat NV votes moved left to the No column. Then quickly the Yes column filled out to 215, then 216. By then, there were 8 or 9 left in NV. 3 went to Yes, the rest to No. What this means is that Nazi had firm committments so she released some people when they were still about 10 away from the needed 216, while holding only a few back in reserve instead of the whole lot while they decided who would fall on their sword. That way, it didn’t look so obvious, but it was still obvious to anybody watching the number movement closely.

Fox was NOT cheering along with the rest.

I beg to differ with you. Fox News had quite a few health control cheerleaders, including but not limited to Geraldo Rivera, Juan Williams, Mara Liason, Bob Beckel, Geraldine Ferarro, and there were several others.
