I have got it easy since my Representative and both my Senators are apposed to this thing. It is you all who live in the democrat wastelands who have to identify or provide an opponent to the people who have betrayed the Constitution.
This will be a never ending campaign. One battle lost does not signal defeat, nor does one won signal victory.
Americans play to win - all the time. I wouldn’t give a hoot in hell for a man who lost and cried about it. The real American never lets fear of defeat overpower his honor or his sense of duty to this country. Never give up. Live free or die, but take a few of the bastards with you.
I’m proud of the everyone who fought this evil too. But sometimes evil wins. And there is no happy ending here, except for the folks who have consolidated power and money by way of this bill.
I see only four alternatives: (1) Totalitarian state as far as the eye can see; (2) Revolution; (3) Secession and Civil War; (4) An American Pinochet and all the ugliness that entails. All four are really crappy alternatives. And my son has to live through one of them.
So I’m kind of negative tonight about God’s plan for my beloved country. I don’t expect that to change in my lifetime.
Speak for yourself. I've fought it in many ways for many years. Today is very painful, and if I need to cry and scream I will, and I won't be lectured. My family was torn apart and impoverished by war and then communism in Europe, and now we face it here. I know the evil we face and I have seen it advancing for decades. The divisions this is causing in our society are already deep, and they will tear apart families and communities. It won't be an easy path, and I for one, need to grieve my losses - at least until tomorrow.
Not here. A lot of us relish a good fight against these tyrants. Don’t listen to the whiners (sadly Krauthammer) that say that this legislation cannot be substantially weakened or repealed. These pundits are not prophets. Did anyone actually think 0bama would be able to socialize nearly 50% of the economy in only one year?
Much of the benefits do not start until 2014. That will give us time for the court challenges and state legislative initiatives. We will have time to change things in November and 2012 and damn right we are going to demand a remedy.
This is not like Medicare which had broad bi-partisan support. This is not as 0bama will try to claim as something that conservatives will learn to love. Zero will try to compare himself to Reagan and his tax cuts which were broadly but not uniformly opposed by the Dims (remember the Reagan Democrats). The fact of the matter is that Reagan’s tax cuts worked to raise prosperity for everyone, 0bamacare will only destroy the economy, health care and the Constitution.
We took must not surrender tamely, but must rally to fight, fight, and fight again. Never give in. Never surrender.
Oh sure...Just like government aiding and abetting a massive lawless invasion of our country...Choking off our schools, jails, hospitals, and social services for years now....It's all the fault of the tax payers.

Time to make sure people don’t forget and give them guidelines to punish the right people by voting against every Democrat, regardless of how an individual voted on this
If they’re a Democrat, they’re part of the majority that got Pelosi and Reid in office. And as part of that majority, they’re part of the problem.

If all the conservative states vote for conservative senators we would have the super majority to do what we want. The first thing we need to do is take back our own states. Look at where these senators are from.

Ironically, the brick through Slaughter's window and Betsy McCaughey's explanation of the foolhardiness of the deem-and-pass tactic convinced them to drop that, and now it is harder to fight the bill in court. There are still grounds, but that would have made it a slam-dunk.
