Amen, sir. We won this debate, the public remains strongly against this. The passing of this bill occurred in November 2008 with the election of a marxist president and massive majorities in both houses. Elections have consequences. The people are on our side, and those numbers haven’t budged in 8 months despite a massive pr campaign. Our side will continue to win the debate and ride it back to majorities. Eliminating this massive bill will be a tough battle, and the window to do so is only a few years. We must fight on all fronts to beat it in court, with the help of our states and in the next elections in 2010 and 2012.
I suggest a ‘pity pity, boo hoo’ thread for those who feel so inclined.
You guys want to nominate me and fund me to speak and lead this revolution, I’ll willing to sacrifice. I’ve got a small family (not married but have nephews) that I think I can protect but I won’t disappoint you. I’m not afraid of these guys in any form or fashion. I’m just crazy enough to actually say the things that most of you only think you could say. With God as my witness, if I ever have the opportunity to stand in front of Obama, I’ll destroy that whiny crackhead turd. I just need the opportunity. I’m college educated, hold traditional values and am fearless.
I’ve gotten up and looked at myself in the mirror a lot the last two years thinking that I can be the one to turn this cake upside down but right now I am just an average worker who hasn’t felt I was needed. I’ll go after liberals with every name in the book and expose them for the frauds and traitors they are. Without hesitation.
It’s going to take someone with a lot of guts. I don’t fear the KOS kids, George Soros or some punk Black Panthers.

An excellent point. At least a dozen promising leaders have come into the spotlight, all with good conservative credentials. We have something to build on and that's a big plus for us.
One has to now wonder why the Republican leadership was unable to stop this.
I want to see GOP leadership heads on a pike. Fighting this will require more talent than they’ve been able to muster. They have been demonstrably ineffective and need to go so we can regain political power in the fall.
Failure must have consequences for political GOP hacks.
They need to go, so we can go after the folks that are committed to this fraud.
Sometimes you have to execute the apathetic and ineffective before you go after the enemy.
I lived for 4 years in the Czech Republic and Russia (post-Communist) and saw what horror that system wreaked on those people. The Russians alone are the most resilient people I’ve ever known, as a result, but it took me a long time to get those images of government imposed oppression out of my head. I guess I’m going to have to dredge that up again and rethink how I can emulate them, and how they “beat the Soviet system” and lived to tell about it.

I’m with ya. It’ ain’t over, just one battle appears to be lost. See what the courts say. Get the individual states to issue nullification based on the 10th Amendment.
Look to November. If all that fails, then there is only one box to stand on.

They could have kept nibbling, but they decided to bite out big chunks. Mosquitos get away with a little blood now and then, and we consider them a nuisance. But when something goes for large chunks of meat we defend with all we have.
It may get really ugly, but it is just starting, not ending.

We’re going to need all of our strength in the months to come.
We cannot just lie down and take the crap the Democrats are slinging at us. Whining and hand-wringing aren’t going to accomplish anything.
What is wrong with YOU? Do you not understand that many of us have invested a lot of time, effort, energy, and yes, even money, attempting to persuade dems to vote NO, attending tea parties and some of us even traveling to Washington. We need to vent - we are human after all and THIS is a crisis not so much for us personally, but for our nation and our children and grandchildren. This is the only "entitlement" we are after: a promising future for those we love dearly.
I spent part of my day convincing a democrat (as of today, he's a FORMER democrat) to vote out the democrats in his part of the country. One by one we can all fight the good fight and incentivize others to help get democrat congressmen and women a place in unemployment lines, not just in 2010, but every year thereafter until they have all been replaced by canddates who respect the US Constitution.
It's our own damn fault we let this happen
We ARE actively fighting for our freedom here and so are many more who once voted for this administration. We MUST fight amnesty with every breath in our bodies or the voters who have turned against Obama (independents and former democrats) will be far outnumbered by his "replacement voters."
