Syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer gave a very ominous prognosis of health care in the United States, assuming House Democrats have finally mustered up votes to pass particular legislation.
On a special broadcast of the Fox News Channel's "Special Report with Bret Baier" on March 21, Krauthammer announced upon passage of health care reform legislation in the House of Representatives, we will have a different country and on the road to nationalized health care.

It's already happening. I saw a news segment tonight about a local doctor who has changed his business model to a cash-only basis. He doesn't take insurance, checks, or credit cards, but might consider barter in some select cases.
NO he is a elitist DC insider who thinks we are stupid and powerless.
He is a snob who prays at the alter of Wash DC power.
I'm the sole conservative in a very large family of solid liberals. I learned that "blood isn't thicker than freedom" during the 2008 election.
I've exchanged little except the most basic holiday greetings and such with family since then, and it doesn't appear that I'll be doing anything other than that from here on out.
My wife isn't a political junkie like I am, but she reads Fox News each morning, and listens to about an hour of talk radio before starting her day. She's aware of what's happening with Obamacare on a basic informational level.
Well, she about knocked me out of my seat tonight, when she turned to me and said, "Honey, when you get paid on that job next week, I want you to spend it all on another gun, and lots more ammo."
I put my 4 year old to bed in tears. The liberal soccer moms who have no understanding of finance and the radical lefties just sank America. The US dollar will be worthless in 5 years and we will have chaos in the streets.
The debt from Obamacare will be astronomical. There aint enouyght rich people to pilfer for this. We will all be poor now.
Wonder what the stock market's going to do tomorrow?
As another poster said, "Blood is thicker than water, but it isn't thicker than freedom."
Seriously, would you have felt so generous if you'd been a rebellious colonist in 1776, in full agreement with, and in total support of the revolution, and your relatives were loyalists?
I would beg to differ that life is NOT bigger than politics. In most cases, they are one and the same thing.
I know what you mean, I cry too for my country that is no more. But the American people wanted change, welcome to the present day dictatorship. That is what we have now, and this is just the beginning. May God have mercy on us.
stop being so dramatic.
You have an obligation to be a dutiful son-in-law, but you don’t have to like her. Also, you can pray for her. After all, sometimes people do get a twinge of conscience or a change of heart, even years later.
America is in our hearts and in our minds. She is us, and we are her. As long as we believe in her, she will never die, nor will she ever be conquered.
The fight has only begun. We will overcome this.
I wonder if this how the country felt during the FDR days?
I read a story out of England that the socialists refused health care to a carpenter who broke his leg on the job because he failed to stop smoking. His family was forced to set his leg as best they could on the kitchen table at his brother’s house.
You don’t have to do anything to the socialist in your family. She’ll suffer and pay big time for what she did to your generation. I would refuse to take up the slack (funds for care) for what Obama does not give to her as she ages. Explain that all your extra money was taken by the socialist government and you can not afford to help her. That is what happens in Europe. Kids let their parents wallow in absolute filth in nursing homes and hospitals because they don’t have the money to do anything privately for them.
It’s done. I hate to sound like a defeatist, but it was passed and not a whimper. Unless those Marxists are removed immediately, it’s time to make some hard choices. Learn to live with it, or go elsewhere. Tonight, I finally faced the facts. Americans have no intention of taking back their country. The Marxists have spent 50 years brainwashing a new generation. It’s done. Over. Finis. It pains me to say it, but now it’s time to face the facts. We waited too long.
We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America. -BO
It’s time to fundamentally change the way that we do business in Washington. To help build a new foundation for the 21st century, we need to reform our government so that it is more efficient, more transparent, and more creative. That will demand new thinking and a new sense of responsibility for every dollar that is spent.
BO
(fundamentally adv - in a way that affects the basis or essentials)
America and Islam are not exclusive and need not be in competition. Instead, they overlap, and share common principles of justice and progress, tolerance and the dignity of all human beings.
BO
Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek. BO
I consider it part of my responsibility as President of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear. BO
I think when you spread the wealth around it’s good for everybody. BO
I’ve been fighting with Acorn, alongside Acorn, on issues you care about, my entire career. BO
I’ve got two daughters. 9 years old and 6 years old. I am going to teach them first of all about values and morals. But if they make a mistake, I don’t want them punished with a baby. BO
If the people cannot trust their government to do the job for which it exists - to protect them and to promote their common welfare - all else is lost. BO
In America, there’s a failure to appreciate Europe’s leading role in the world. BO
It’s not surprising, then, they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them BO
Over the last 15 months, we’ve traveled to every corner of the United States. I’ve now been in 57 states? I think one left to go. BO
The United States has been enriched by Muslim Americans. Many other Americans have Muslims in their families or have lived in a Muslim-majority country - I know, because I am one of them. BO
The United States is not, and never will be, at war with Islam. BO
This is the moment when we must build on the wealth that open markets have created, and share its benefits more equitably. Trade has been a cornerstone of our growth and global development. But we will not be able to sustain this growth if it favors the few, and not the many. BO
We can’t drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times... and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK. That’s not leadership. That’s not going to happen. BO
We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded. BO
We need somebody who’s got the heart, the empathy, to recognize what it’s like to be a young teenage mom, the empathy to understand what it’s like to be poor or African-American or gay or disabled or old - and that’s the criterion by which I’ll be selecting my judges. BO
We need to steer clear of this poverty of ambition, where people want to drive fancy cars and wear nice clothes and live in nice apartments but don’t want to work hard to accomplish these things. Everyone should try to realize their full potential. BO
The success of our economy has always depended not just on the size of our gross domestic product, but on the reach of our prosperity, on the ability to extend opportunity to every willing heart — not out of charity, but because it is the surest route to our common good. BO
I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.” BO
“My friends, we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world. I hope you’ll join me as we try to change it.” BO
“I ceased to advertise my mothers race at the age of twelve or thirteen, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites.” BO
“I found solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mothers race.” BO
“To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists.” BO
“I learned to slip back and forth between my black and white worlds. One of those tricks I had learned: People were satisfied so long as you were courteous and smiled and made no sudden moves. They were more than satisfied; they were relieved — such a pleasant surprise to find a well-mannered young black man who didn’t seem angry all the time.” BO
“I had learned not to care. I blew a few smoke rings, remembering those years. Pot had helped, and booze; maybe a little blow when you could afford it. Not smack, though. ...”BO
“I can no more disown (Jeremiah Wright) than I can disown the black community.” —BO
“The point I was making was not that Grandmother harbors any racial animosity. She doesn’t. But she is a typical white person...” BO
“Thats just how white folks will do you.” BO
The call to Islamic prayer is one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset. BO
“For the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country, because it feels like hope is making a comeback.” MO
“That is why I am here, because Barack Obama is the only person in this who understands that. That before we can work on the problems, we have to fix our souls. Our souls are broken in this nation.”MO
“... as a black man, you know, Barack can get shot going to the gas station, you know.”MO
“My experiences at Princeton have made me far more aware of my ‘blackness’ than ever before.”MO
“Earlier in my college career, there was no doubt in my mind that as a member of the Black community I was somehow obligated to this community and would utilize all of my present and future resources to benefit this community first and foremost.” MO
“The truth is most Americans don’t want much. Folks don’t want the whole pie. Most Americans feel blessed to thrive a little bit, but that’s out of reach for them. The truth is, in order to get things like universal health care and a revamped education system, someone is going to have to give up a piece of their pie so that someone else can have more.” MO
Boomers should retire as early as they can. When conservative boomer white men pull out of the economy and influencing society, look out!
Collecting taxes and losing the tax base will be the least of the socialists and police state problems. White Boomers hold the only memory and culture of a functional American-American society. They can practice at the shooting range as much as they want to. Handle the coming massive dysfunction and violence privately.
Can we secede now, or do we have to wait for amnesty and CapNTax to go ahead and kill the rest of Texas’ economy?
And secondly, each and every person out there, loyal Freepers and Patriots, ponder FIVE individuals in the Armed Forces of the United States of America whom they do know at all ranks and in all branches. From buck privates up to generals if necessary; if you know them or can or do regularly communicate with them; friends, relatives, former comrades, family, friends of family. Reach out to them and dialogue. Quote the United States Constitution. Listen, ask, discuss, educate.
You know what to talk to them about.
You know what to do. Now get to it.
Multitask and also set the stage for the 2010 in your elections, in your home town and locality.
