A better idea is to kick out of the country parts of New England, New York City, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Chicago, Detroit, Seattle, San Fransisco, and Los Angeles. Give all but the California cities to Canada and make those two dependent republics.

Secede? What the hell for? They've already seceded from the Constitution. All that should be needed is for the rest of us to formally acknowledge their breach with us and with the Constitution, and that they're no longer part of these United States.
