Debbie Schlussel posted a long piece last evening about a charity that Sean Hannity is affiliated with, accusing them of malfeasance and mismangement.
FrumForum has done an exhaustive investigation of the charity in question, Freedom Alliance, and found enough evidence to substantially rebut each of Schlussel’s claims. I’ll approach them one by one.

I searched here at freerepublic to see what the other side of the story is by plugging in the title of Debbie's piece. Nothing came up. Apparently, the story has been debated already, but nothing came up, at all.
It's too bad the mod pulled the thread because I could have posted a link to this defense of Freedom Alliance, and Sean Hannity in the thread.
I don't know how we're supposed to respond to charges if the mods pull threads because they are "pure fiction" instead of letting freepers post exonerating evidence, and links.
Schlussel has had a vendetta against Sean for years. I’m not clear why though. Personally I think she is a biatch and removed her website from my favorites years ago.

I remember someone with that name writing the most horrible columns concerning ‘immigrants without documentation’, and how they were such great benefits to our capitalist system.
Being pi$$ed off by this woman’s opinion, I fired off a letter to the editor and to Schlussel, asking what part of illegal in ‘illegal alien’ didn’t they comprehend? Not surprising that my letters were never published nor answered.
Since Hannity is opposed to open borders and amnesty for illegal aliens, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that Schlussel is trying to descredit him. I suspect this bodes well for the future, as opponents of open borders and amnesty for illegal aliens try to stop the insanity in the Houses of Congress.
And .. the politics of personal destruction continues .....
I always thought she was a tad shady. I suspect this is more about driving traffic to her website more than being true.

Sean would be risking his entire broadcast career by lying about his work w/the Freedom Alliance. How a person could imagine that he would not be aware that the media he so thoroughly decries and lambastes wouldn’t pick up on and riot over any such dishonesty is beyond comprehension.
This is whether or not you support or like Sean. I for one am very glad there is a Sean Hannity, even though I tire of his very repetitive message. He could not be unaware he is under an intense microscope. I mean, to believe something so stupid says so much more about the one believing such idiocy than it does about Hannity.
