"It's sleaze my friends, it's sleaze," McCain said.

Republicans believe health care change is needed, but not such fundamental change, McCain said.
Everyone deserves affordable health care, he said, suggesting changes such as allowing people go across state lines to get insurance coverage, reforming medical malpractice laws, and giving families $5,000 to choose their own insurance plans in place of employer tax benefits for insurance coverage.

About a half-dozen of the questions related to illegal immigration and McCain's stance on amnesty.
"We must get our borders secure first," with the help of the National Guard, McCain said. He also voiced support for a temporary worker program for seasonal agricultural workers from other countries.
President Reagan granted amnesty to two million people and that was wrong, McCain said.
On other subjects, McCain said he voted for the Troubled Asset Relief Program because he was told the money would go toward helping the housing market, but instead it went to a Wall Street bailout.

The Yavapai Tea Party invited McCain to speak Saturday, and the tea party's banner was hanging on the PHS stage behind McCain.
Outside, a handful of people including Prescott Tea Party leader Michael Hendricks carried signs of protest against McCain, including "Flush the John" and "RINO free zone."

"I have to tell you, [Obama] is a decent person, a person that you
do not have to be scared [of] as president of the United States."
U.S. SEN. JOHN MCCAIN, 10 OCT. 2008
The opportunistic bastard is just trying to win favor with conservatives.
If McDemocrat wasn’t up for re-election, he’d be the first YES GOP health care vote leading the RINO herd.
What did they do with John McCain and replace with an impostor? This is NOT the John McCain we know.
Oh wait......trying to get re-elected, GOT IT!
“We must get our borders secure first,” with the help of the National Guard, McCain said.”
You’ll need to secure that border to keep the Americans locked in the communist country you are helping transform.
I saw him at the start of the marathon in Tempe a couple months ago and part of me loved the guy for what he suffered for our country. Unfortunately, a lot of folks will vote for that heroism without considering the ten thousand heroes who don’t use it to get office. Nor will they consider that after nearly forty years in Washington, Mr McCain is part of the problem.
“”We must get our borders secure first,” with the help of the National Guard, McCain said. “
This old fool knows well that the house bill calls for NO national guard to ever be deployed to the border.
He doesn’t want security on that border. Never did, never will.

“President Reagan granted amnesty to two million people and that was wrong, McCain said.”
It’s difficult to believe even McCain said something this stupid....But it’s okay if McCain wants to amnesty 20 million?
WOW!
A pure lie, and the same thing Juan said almost three years ago as the Republican primary debates got started. He said he "got the message" and the borders would be secured first. With MSM help, the amnesty issue died away as a campaign issue in 2008.
Maybe Juan would like to show us all the legislation he's introduced or supported since 2007 to secure our borders first.
Anyone who buys his nonsense on this issue just wants to be hoodwinked. He's Senator Amnesty, a name he's earned many times over.
BTW, the new Graham amnesty bill in the senate appears to be a carbon copy of McCain/Kennedy.
And YES, it is AMNESTY, no matter what McPain tries to call it.
[snip]The announcement also coincided with the release of an outline for amnesty legislation authored by Senators Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) and Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.).
According to the outline, illegal aliens would be required to admit that they broke the law, pay an unspecified fine for having settled illegally in the U.S., pay back taxes (which should have been paid anyway), and fulfill some minor civic requirements. In addition, the outline calls for increases in future immigration to the United States. The concrete benefits for the people who violated U.S. immigration laws are offset by vague promises of future immigration enforcement.
The Schumer-Graham plan appears to be a near carbon copy of the McCain-Kennedy-Bush amnesty legislation that was resoundingly rejected by the American people in 2007, said Dan Stein, president of the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR). The public believed amnesty was fundamentally unfair, harmful to the interests of law-abiding citizens and legal immigrants, and prohibitively expensive to American taxpayers. Since the last attempt to pass amnesty, U.S. unemployment has more than doubled, the size of the federal deficit has grown tenfold, and nearly every state government is facing a fiscal crisis.

And Juan neglected to add that the 1986 amnesty was supposed to be a one time deal that cleaned up the illegal status of a few million, and that the borders would be strictly enforced afterwards to prevent a recurrence of the problem.
But maybe Juan would like to list all the efforts for us he's made since 1986 to secure our borders first.
“Flush the John” !!! Arizona are you listening, have you had enough?
“But maybe Juan would like to list all the efforts for us he’s made since 1986 to secure our borders first. “

He only becomes a Conservative when he’s running for election.
“The Yavapai Tea Party invited McCain to speak Saturday, and the tea party’s banner was hanging on the PHS stage behind McCain.
Outside, a handful of people including Prescott Tea Party leader Michael Hendricks carried signs of protest against McCain, including “Flush the John” and “RINO free zone.”
Prescott and Yavapai tea party leaders said they have split ways, and now former Prescott Tea Party leaders lead the Yavapai Tea Party.
He is not becoming a conservative — his lies are becoming more blatantly.
