Daily Kos in full-on pants-wetting meltdown over “Motions to Recommit”

If you ever thought we didn’t love you, we hope today proves you wrong, because we just read a piece over at Daily Kos for you. It was icky. We had to take a shower afterwards, with that stinky antibacterial soap to kill all the orange germs. Kos is a very nasty, rotten place, but we got a tip they were in full-on pants-wetting meltdown mode over “Motions to Recommit” and wanted to know what the fuss was about.

Who knows what Republicans are up to. Nobody ever got rich betting Republicans would show spine, save the day, and do the right thing…not when there’s any option at all to crumble, melt into soggy pools, and back away from everything they believe in so that maybe — just maybe — the media affection they seek so desperately might come their way for a moment. Will they use the “Motions to Recommit” to lay the foundation for the ouster of every Democrat in office.

We sure hope so.

Here's to hope...

I love the double irony;

The Liberal Lion Ted Kennedy dies and his replacement is the 41st vote against Obamacare.

The ONLY issue on which Democrats refuse to budge - abortion - may well cost them their precious ObamaCare.

Okay, so why don’t you tell us about it? I don’t want to go there - I hate getting cooties!

Relax. The Repubs are too cowardly to ever do this.

Don’t ask a Republican leader what they are doing. It like asking Ernest T Bass what day it is. The response may scare you...

You gotta read Hillbuzz’ entire post, ladybug. They lay it all out so we don’t have to get all icky going over to Daily Kooks site. LOL

Gotta find a way to get this to Boehner or Cantor. heh

What is a likely motion to recommit gonna be?

Do you support the $500 billion reduction in Medicare benefits that this bill includes?

Do you support having taxpayers pay for abortions that this bill includes?

How many motions can we make????

Typically, but in this situation they have a chance to save the day for the vast majority of very angry americans. It does not take much courage to side with the majority, in fact it takes none at all. They just might do it since there is virtually no risk to them at all, only huge gains in public opinion.

I love this irony too. You have a guy like Stupak, who is clearly a socialist, and yet he appears sincerely committed to the sanctity of life. Maybe God really is involved here.

This is why these “YES” votes are turning into “NO.”

There are some Democrats who will sacrifice their term in office for this bill but a lot of them will not. Self preservation will be key and seeing Obama’s ratings tank, the Dems will be fleeing from the Obama Titanic very soon.

I dunno.

Might have to take one for the team and go into the cootie bag that is Daily Kooks.

Boehner said he is going to do this. I hope he sticks to his word and uses Rahm’s ‘rule’ against them. It would be too sweet.
