U.S. Rep. Glenn Nye announced Saturday night he is voting against against the Democratic health care bill today, saying it doesnt do enough to lower the cost of health care.
Over the past year, I have spoken with countless small business owners, families, medical professionals, and average citizens across Virginias 2nd District, and it became very clear that this bill was not the right solution for Virginias health care challenges, Nye said in a written statement. There were many strong points in this bill that I would have been happy to support individually, but the package as a whole had serious problems.

It will be irrelevant even if the socialists ram this through Congress! Any federal version of health care is unconstitutional since Article 1 Section 8 does not specifically grant Congress the power to regulate health care! The people are not bound to comply with any unconstitutional act of Congress! The people are the government and will have the final say as to how they will be governed! These points need to be conveyed to Congress critters!

Of course it won’t do much about health care costs. That’s because it’s a big scam to grab tax funds for 4 years which will be immediately squandered away anyhow.

This is hugh (and series). Nye was heavily funded by Pelosi and Hoyer PACs. He also voted ‘yes’ the first time around. I pray that he votes ‘no’ tomorrow.

Nancy probably oked this. It will pass by one vote so the maximum number of democrats can vote no. I assume every democrat is willing to vote yes if necessary. I assume every democrat who votes no was given a gift by Nancy.

I think these “conservative” Rat freshmen holdouts have likely just been waiting until the Fascists have their votes, so they can be on record with a “no.”

Doing it on this scope has never been court tested, to be sure. Medicaid and Medicare are government run programs, but they are opt-in, nobody need enroll if he or she does not want.
