As their whip efforts narrow to a just handful of Members, House Democratic leaders are facing an unlikely problem vote: Rep. Loretta Sanchez (D-Calif.).
Sanchez was nowhere to be found on Saturday she was in Florida on a fundraising jaunt, two Democratic sources said and while leaders expected her to return for the Sunday vote on final passage, they werent assured. Whats more, leaders now list the Orange County Democrat as a no vote.

The last person I’d expect to vote no
But a good one.
Typical. So Cal Democrat taking bribes in Fla.
Maybe she has a boyfriend? Good for her! Sow your wild oats Loretta! Obama will be doing just fine without your need to vote!
This is kind of weird. Sounds like she ran away from Nanny Pelosi and is hiding out somewhere.
If she is a confirmed no, we want her to make an appearance.
Otherwise, maybe Cheney has taken her quail hunting?
I hope she gets lost on the way to the airport or experiences mechanical breakdown and ends up missing her flight.
Verrrrry Interestink!
She has a potentially strong opponent challenging her this year. She has not exactly been winning her district by over whelming numbers and this vote could do her in. We can only hope.
LOL. I thought the same thing! Perhaps they should check the Appalachian Trail for her???
It will be irrelevant even if the socialists ram this through Congress! Any federal version of health care is unconstitutional since Article 1 Section 8 does not specifically grant Congress the power to regulate health care! The people are not bound to comply with any unconstitutional act of Congress! The people are the government and will have the final say as to how they will be governed! These points need to be conveyed to Congress critters!
LOL She is off enjoying her weekend and raising money. I’m betting she won’t show up or answer the phone until Monday morning.
Maybe she’s doing a “hard pivot” and turning away from being a Democrat scu&bag.
IMHO
Not really. It would mean that we only need 215 no’s to tie and deny passage.
This is one time I’d enjoy reading about a 6 hour delay on a tarmac
How about she gets on a plan and has a 16 hour delay on the runway like other have bared.
This news is so heartwarming! I still think it will not pass...
Sounds like another trick to me. I don’t trust this. If she stays gone; she may be a no show vote for a reason.
