2 p.m.: The House will debate for one hour the rules of debate for the reconciliation bill and the Senate bill.
3 p.m.: The House will vote to end debate and vote on the rules of the debate.
3:15 p.m.: The House will debate the reconciliation package for two hours.
5:15 p.m.: The House will vote on the reconciliation package.
5:30 p.m.: The House will debate for 15 minutes on a Republican substitute and then vote on the substitute.
6 p.m.: The House will vote on the final reconciliation package.
6:15 p.m.: If the reconciliation bill passes, the House will immediately vote on the Senate bill, without debate.
yep. my mother is a code-pink-leftie-obama voter. when i told her to be careful of what she voted for and explained that the mayo clinic in phoenix wasn’t going to except medicare anymore (that’s what she is on), her reply was, “so what? i don’t need to go to the mayo clinic”.
there will come a time that she might need to, and the option isn’t there.
you can’t reason with them. she thinks that britain’s and canada’s system is wonderful. but she is an American, and hasn’t had to use it.
i told her to look at the VA and the BIA health care.
you can’t reason with the lefty obama voters. funny thing is, she’s stingy with “her money” but has no problem taking it from someone else, even to the extent of refusing to help her children.
i’ll bet babs streisand, sean penn, rosie o, etc. won’t have to wait in the same lines we will.

Well, our dear friend Obama has seemingly stressed a hands off policy with the glaring exception of ineffective meddling in Israel and (earlier) Honduras. Imperialism is bad, don’tcha know? For somebody to rule the whole world, may require some decades of additional ferment.
Hmm. I guess I’m not like your patients. I don’t like even having to take aspirin for pain. I sure wouldn’t take a narcotic unless my pain was severe and OTC drugs did not work.
I suspect most of these people who are seeking “health care” are just seeking free narcotics anyway, so they will probably be fine with that. God help those who are there for more serious problems that a “pain pill” or IV narcotic won't take care of. Patients in this country are in for a rude awakening, they have been spoiled by the health care system we have now. Although not perfect, it WAS the best in the world. Anybody want to bet that they bring in a bunch of substandard MDs from Muslim countries to replace those who will be leaving health care? The best and the brightest will flee and be replaced by the substandard.

This is an Old Testament quotation and speaks of earthly events. The New Testament parallel in Jesus Christ is the failure to accept salvation. This abominable political action tonight won’t impact anybody’s salvation; if they acted like the damned they probably already were damned.
