No way will I listen to Zero tonight!
Let’s make our FREEPer hit list and check it twice, Windcatcher.
(Hit list in the political sense, of course.)
Can you explain the motion to recommit? What are the implications?
They did this for party. They did this TO honest hard working Americans. They see themselves and their party in perpetual RULE. It’s all for party. It’s all for party. It’s all for party. It’s all for party.
Time for people to wake-up AND pony up!
Remember the phrase "Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their Country"
This whole bill is an egregious defect.
I’m back and just saw the vote. Like Tom Delay just said, I’m sickened!!
You're right. I cry for our lost liberty and our former Republic.
The fight will continue.
Yes, have faith. And a big thank you for having a child who is a Bronze Star recipient. You deserve all of our respect!
So if his wife was bedridden for 6 (or was it 16?) years, does she now have a “patriotic” duty to take the blue pill? If the govt. doesn’t approve of her lifestyle which caused this situation, will we have to pay?
my hit list starts tomorrow am.............1. Get McLettuce to the pastures 2. Get Geraldo off FOX
a recent poll said 43% of Drs would quit.
Someone shut Geraldo up! What a tool!
Motion to recommit up now.
34 Democrats voted no. We needed 4 more to vote no.
Gentleman from Michigan making an impassioned plea for the unborn children, on the motion to recommit.
Motion to recommit has to occur before passage - too late for that now. To the Courts now...
No, the Judases were those independents and Republicans who either voted for Democrats to "give them a chance", or for "change", or to "teach the Republicans a lesson" or whatever, and those Republicans who either stayed home or voted Libertarian or third party.
Even in Red districts, these stupid people voted for people like Alan Grayson and Eric Massa.
They voted out 20 Republicans and replaced them with 20 Democrats, increasing the Democrat advantage in the House from 37 to 78 votes.
Does anyone have a link for the roll call vote on this?
yup - I’m preparing my speech to the kiddies tomorrow.
We are now living in a socialist country.
Things are about to change around here and there’s going to be serious money hording taking place in our household.
We will - for the first time - begin a garden.
Since the government refuses to increase spending - we will be forced to slash ours.
Welcome to the Socialist States of Amerika everyone!
“and when his strength
failed him at length,
he met a pilgrim shadow.
Shadow, said he,
where can it be
this land called El Dorado”
for some reason this is stuck in my head now.
