3:15 p.m.: The House will debate the reconciliation package for two hours.
5:15 p.m.: The House will vote on the reconciliation package.
5:30 p.m.: The House will debate for 15 minutes on a Republican substitute and then vote on the substitute.
6 p.m.: The House will vote on the final reconciliation package.
6:15 p.m.: If the reconciliation bill passes, the House will immediately vote on the Senate bill, without debate.

They did not anticipate parties as such. Shifting factions yes, but not the sort of thing we have now. If it was up to me there would be no recognition of parties in any governmental functions. Let them conduct their own primaries if they wish, but anyone can run in the general election. No "majority leader", no rules whatsoever that recognize the existence of parties.
Parties, particularly the 'Rat part, exist to elect candidates. That's fine as far as it goes, but they should be officially directly recognized.
We got the virtual unknown BO because the 'Rat party saw that having a black candidate would give them, including all those Congressional candidates, a big electoral boost. Otherwise we'd have Hillary.

Our preacher today was talking about how the Jews turned away from God. Even to the point of worshipping false gods and sacrificing their children to the false gods.
God gave them warnings (through the prophets) but they would not listen. Finally, the Jews were sent into exile for 70 years (Babylon). Of course they came out much the better for it. Until they stopped listening again and the process repeated itself.
America is in pretty much the same place. Worshipping false gods (take your pick of several), and sacrificing our children to them.
The part that really bothered me was that you said you and your daughter weren’t “suited” to the military. There’s a big difference between “not suited” and “unable” to serve. And, it sounds that you were unable to serve. No shame in that.
I happen to think that you’re right if you’re saying that some/many people shouldn’t go into the military, but not because they’re not “suited” to the life. I know how much our troops give up to serve, and generally speaking, they do it out of love of country.
It’s coming.....we’re working on it....
