He's been great today posting items from the rally. I'm sure you're right!
The whole Dem side of the committee look like they have martinis in those pitchers, don’t they?
They are going through list of dozens of amendments (more than 100 of them...) http://www.rules.house.gov/amendment_details.aspx?NewsID=4609
Rep Gingrey: Not Sure There Will be a Vote Tomorrow
Georgia Congressman Phil Gingrey, who chairs the GOP Doctors Caucus, tells Fox News that hes not sure there will even be a vote tomorrow. As part of Fox News continuing health care coverage, Gingrey made an appearance on the channel earlier today, where he said, Nancy Pelosi is not going to bring the vote to the floor if she doesnt have those 216 votes. And nobody wants to be that deciding vote.
Republicans have 206 publicly committed votes. We need 216 to defeat the bill. There were ten members of the Stupak group:
Stupak
Driehaus
Lipinski
Kaptur
Dahlkemper
Mollohan
Rahall
Donnelly
Costello
Berry
Obviously, if all of those held, that would be enough to defeat the bill, but the cryptic comment of Stupak that he had lost votes and at least six will stand opposed is still puzzling. There are also still five uncommitted members who voted NO in November:
Baird
Tanner
Nye
Boucher
L. Davis
Okay, so if Stupak has at least 6, Nye just went No, so that's 7, and if 3 more just turn No we'll be at 216. Can get from Stupak's group of 4 undecideds or the remaining group of 4 undecideds. Only 3. C'mon Congressman, make history and Vote No!
Code Red has the count as 211 No, 212 Yes and 8 undecided but they had Nye as a Yes, so theirs is 212 No.
Prayers up!
Am I not getting this?
are the Dems saying NO to everything? did they just vote No to an amendment to get rid of duplicate programs?
WaPo is filled with lies.
Oh, those dirty SOB’s.
