SAN FRANCISCO A federal appeals court says Anna Nicole Smith's estate will receive none of the more than $300 million that she claimed her late billionaire husband had promised her.
The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals is the latest stop in the 15-year legal battle over the $1.6 billion estate that oil magnate J. Howard Marshall left after his 1995 death at age 90.
Smith had married Marshall the previous year and argued that he meant to leave her more than $300 million.
A Texas state court ruled against Smith and in favor of Marshall's son, who argued the model should receive nothing.

(9th Circus of Appeals) Court: Anna Nicole Smith gets none of oil fortune
Miss Smith’s lawyer said his client had no comment on the ruling.
To be continued..
The dead continue to fight over money.....odd.....
ping
Our liberties and nation is exponentially going to hell in a hand-basket and we should care about some gold-digger? Sheesh.
Okay so he was fifty or so years older than her, she marries him, and we’re supposed to believe that he didn’t intend to leave her big dollars? Judge Judy could have knocked this case out in 10 minutes.
Who wants that kid now?
Better call CPS before this leaks to the daddy.
Her baby girl and the goldigging himbo Baby Daddy(s?) will have to actually work for a living?
That’s just plain unfair! *SMIRK*
but but .. thank goodness for paternity tests. whew.
Money’s no good in Hell...
In a lot of States you can’t disinherit your spouse. If one leaves a will and cuts their spouse out, the spouse can still take a heafty chunk. (50% here in Indiana). Guess Texas doesn’t have that rule.
What was she gonna do with it if she did get it?
Good. Finally a whore who doesn’t get paid.
HAHAHA. I’m listening to The Testament by John Grisham right now. It is fascinating how, when a lot of money is at stake, what is clear and plain, once scrutinized by attorneys, suddenly becomes blurry. But reason seems to have prevailed in this case.
She thought she should get more than that.
His son disagreed.
The court agreed with the son.
Judge Judy is not a valid model of correct jurisprudence, it is a TV show.
There was only testimony that she had sexual intercourse over forty times with another man while living with actor Lee Marvin. But I suppose that sort of fashionable promiscuting means nothing to you, Jane, who hops from bed to bed with the frequency of a cheap ham radio. But hell hath no fury like a woman’s scorn, and Michelle Triola, like a screeching, squealing, reptatious swamp sow is after actor Lee Marvin’s last three million dollars. I guess what you and Michelle are saying is that when you’re on your backs, the meter is running. Well, please spare us, gals, and tell us the rate’s at the top. Then we can choose which two bit tarts and bargain basement sluts to shack up with.
Dan Ackroyd from Lee Marvin “Point...Counterpoint.”
If Anna Nicole Smith does offer a comment on this ruling it would be something well worth listening to.
The original federal court decision in this case was hilarious.
But, Norm! Now you’re out MILLIONS, LOL! :)
