The Democrats are assaulting the very pillars of our democracy. As the debate on Obamacare reaches the long, painful end, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is confronting a political nightmare. She may not have the 216 votes necessary to pass the Senate's health care bill in the House.
Hence, Mrs. Pelosi and her congressional Democratic allies are seriously considering using a procedural ruse to circumvent the traditional constitutional process. Led by Rep. Louise M. Slaughter, New York Democrat and chairman of the House Rules Committee, the new plan - called the "Slaughter Solution" - is not to pass the Senate version on an up-or-down vote. Rather, it is to have the House "deem" that the legislation was passed and then have members vote directly on a series of "sidecar" amendments to fix the things it does not like.
This would enable House Democrats to avoid going on the record voting for provisions in the Senate bill - the "Cornhusker Kickback," the "Louisiana Purchase," the tax on high-cost so-called "Cadillac" insurance plans - that are reviled by the public or labor-union bosses. If the reconciliation fixes pass, the House can send the Senate bill to President Obama for his signature without ever having had a formal up-or-down vote on the underlying legislation.

By his policies he obviously hates the real America, wants to "change" it into his vision of a socialist paradise with few personal freedoms nor liberties. He and his cohorts in crime, including Reid and Pelosi have shown they are enemies of our Constitution. It is time to clean house, starting at the top.
If the dems use the Slaughter deem thing to pass health care then the republicans should use the same rule to impeach Obama as soon as they have the numbers to do so.

According to the Left along with their lackeys in the media, the US Constitution is a living,breathing document that must brought up to date in order to reflect the changing time.
The US population is not enlightened enough to understand the complexities of life and therefore must have their choices made for them by the state,in the name of the common good.
I agree with Kuhner, every Republican running for office this year should declare they will start 0 impeachment proceedings immediately if elected.

You can’t impeach President just ‘cause you don’t like him or he has low poll numbers.
I don’t think the Republicans have either the spine or inclination to try and impeach two Deem-o-crats presidents in a row, especially since the last attempt failed...............
Lately, it always seems like we’re a day late and dollar short. I don’t think we can wait till November. There HAS to be something proactive we can do!
Even if you do not get into the ineligibility question, I think plenty of charges can be found to handle an impeachment.
Seems he is giving aid and comfort to the enemy..and hell he is the enemy.
You can impeach the president for anything you want. The Constitution says only “High crimes and misdemeanors.”
All it takes is a majority vote in the House.

From what I understand the top levels are “liberalised” to the point that we can’t depend on them.
Maybe mid-level colonels?
