I hear you. I have a Catholic priest in mine that I have no use for.
>> To overtly disenfranchise the 2/3rds of us who can see the corrupt action this week as the Coup d’état that is is unconscionable.
bttt
Bump!
bingo, doing that myself... I hate them more for their ignorances than being a stupid dem...??? Anyway, I just cant stand being around them anymore... one exception is my boss, need the job.
I feel your pain. They are enablers to the Traitors of this country!
I agree it is hard to maintain civility with these people. I’m so angry with them. My youngest is having a b-day party on Sunday, and the Dem In Laws are coming over, fil, mil, bil, and sil. Ugh..of course this healthcare bs will be the topic.
Consider decaf.
Well stated. Your rant deserves a pulitzer!
What took you so long?
I can understand your frustration. My best friend spouts the Liberal BS at me, and I counter with logical and rational arguments which drives him crazy. But he’s my friend and I can’t kick him out of my life because of some of the crazy things he believes. I have turned him around on the Global Warming issue and have got him to admit several problems with the Health Care bill. I know he’s a good person and he’s my friend reguardless of his political views.
I did that years ago.
Family is important, but boy I've had it.
Relax. There’s nothing wrong with a liberal, so long as their beliefs don’t get implemented in government. It takes all kinds...even liberals. They have their place in our society. It’s not in government, though.
You have pointed to the difficulty in rectifying the issues that confront us as a nation. This is not a North versus South issue, where we can draw a line and say everyone on one side is fighting everyone on the other. It is a neighbor versus neighbor issue.
That guy standing behind you in the grocery store is in a Union, works for the state government, and thinks Obama hung the moon.
As has been pointed out by others, it is not that Obama is the President that is the central issue ... it is that so many living in the US have decided that having a gigantic government is the way we should go, and they see Pelosi, Reid, and Obama as agents of the sort of change they actually WANT.
When you add up all the unionized employees of state and federal government, all of the people dependent on that government, and all of the college professors, “journalists”, and supposedly “progressive” types for whom socialist/communist history is not a negative, some huge percentage of this country see no reins at all on government growth and intrusion. The government is their mommy, daddy, God, provider, and anything that makes it more powerful and more all encompassing makes them happy.
I hear you, I haven’t seen my sister in almost 10 years and she only lives about 40 miles from me. If I never see her again, that’s ok by me. She’s a big-time (PETA and other nut root ideas) lib. She was actually born in Berkley, California and I think they DID something to her right after she was born. Maybe she’s a changeling, lol.
one step ahead of you. Was their choice. Therefore...their loss. My God, my country and my family come first and foremost. Without the first two we can’t have the third.
I have a daughter that is a die-hard liberal. I adore her.
We avoid politics and talk books and movies and personal issues.
Works for us.
Last fall a friend of many years and I had a discussion (civil, or so I thought) over global warming. This guy used to be active in the Montana Libertarian Party, then he married a public school (made up)history teacher. Since then he has returned only 1 phone call.
Now, here we are. Our constitution is about to be flushed down the toilet and we will be facing one of two likely futures: To live under a tyrannical government or STAND UP AND FIGHT. I am very close to considering ANY liberal a direct and real threat to my and future generation's freedom. In short, an enemy.
I definitely feel your pain and have thought of doing much the same as what you are intending to do. I’ve got old friends from school that are of the liberal persuasion. One got into an argument with a conservative friend of mine on Facebook over a Mark Steyn article I posted. It forever changed my feelings toward her. I knew she was an idealistic pie in the sky type, but I didn’t know she was so very, very selfish. I haven’t disowned any yet, but I so understand what you are going to do.
