The pretending has got to stop. I've HAD IT with every single Liberal/Democrat in my life. I don't care if you're an Aunt, Cousin, neighbor or a life-long friend. I don't care that we go to the same church, coach my son's basketball or if we have kids that hang out together.
There's no longer room in my life for you or anyone who would associate themselves with those who are purposefully dismantling the country my children will have to live in.
I'm ready to post to Facebook that what's going on in our Government in broad daylight should bring nothing but SHAME and DISGUST to anyone with a lick of sense. And if you voted for Øbama or any of the Congressional crotch-fruit who is breaching the oath they took to uphold the U.S. Constitution, you can go straight to HELL! Un-friend me now.
To overtly disenfranchise the 2/3rds of us who can see the corrupt action this week as the Coup d'état that is is unconscionable. Not to mention the rest of the SOCIALIST ECONOMIC BULLSHIT they've shoved down our throats this past year.

A child's birthday party is no place for political discussion/argument. Lay down the law ahead of time, and if someone can't agree, they can wish the child a Happy Birthday on the phone and be done with it. Don't be timid about enforcing the rule during the party, as well. You may have to remind people, but be firm. Good luck!

Good post. Thank God I work with retired military. The libs around here keep their mouths shut. I have a cousin I don’t talk to who turned liberal and moved to leftist Seattle. I have nothing to do with him. Sad really, we were close as kids. Good thing he’s the only one in the family. I am real close with his dad who always wonders what the hell happened to his son. Glad my kids did not turn out that way.

Ive been disgusted with government since the day I watched the botched attempts to rescue the iranian hostages during the carter years. And it’s only gotten worse day by day since then. And no, reagan was not perfect. he also made mistakes.
Most people are not experts in their own beliefs. Never forget that. They believe what they believe partly out of ignorance. Life is a learning experience. We (hopefully) get better and smarter as we age.
Don’t despise all liberals. For many of them it is a temporary thing. For many, liberal beliefs were “default” belief that they were raised with. Others were seduced by the pseudo-humanitarian, pseudo-intellectual aspects of liberalism while in college. give them a chance. Let them ramble about their stupid crap. Think of it as letting a little kid go on and on about what his favorite color is and what is his favorite animal.
I get fed up with people yammering on about their favorite football team. But I don’t feel like deserting them over it. Heck, even rush yammers on about football now and then.

The dems are squirming. People have a tendency to do bad things when they are between a rock and a hard place. Out of despiration, human beings will resort to all kinds of horrible things that they normally wouldn’t do. This is what you are seeing in congress regarding the healthcare legislation.
They are squirming like a worm. That’s what worms(and snakes) do.
And others are watching and suspending their moral judgement of these poor acts because they too are squirming to a lesser degree. And they want what they feel is “payback” for 8 years of bush.

I disagree, my daughter thinks I am the shit (sorry but gotta be blunt) because I don’t take crap off of anyone. I am the original rebel to her and she is more and more like me every day. Since when do kids admire mindless robots who do everything the authority figures tell them to do? Your grandkids will think you are cool if you do!
