A number of powerful American Jewish leaders are upset with the president over escalating tensions between the U.S. and Israel—and may take it out on the Democrats this fall.
When Secretary of State Hillary Clinton addresses some 7,500 delegates to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee’s Washington policy conference on Monday morning, the moment will be fraught. It’s just possible that Clinton, accustomed to being love-bombed by the powerful pro-Israel lobby’s conventioneers whenever she spoke as New York’s junior senator, will be greeted with chilly silence or, worse, scattered boos—the AIPAC membership’s angry response to the frayed and apparently deteriorating relationship between Israel and the United States.
“Man, I wouldn’t want to be Hillary Clinton going there at this point in time,” says Manhattan billionaire James S. Tisch, chief executive of Loews Corp.—the hotel, insurance and oil exploration conglomerate—and a longtime activist in Jewish causes and philanthropies. “I wouldn’t be surprised if she gets a ‘cold’—a diplomatic sickness.”
The 57-year-old Tisch, a big-money political donor who gives to both Democrats and Republicans and supported John McCain in the 2008 presidential election, is typical of wealthy Jewish supporters of Israel, especially in New York, who are bitterly opposed to President Obama’s Middle East policies and harshly critical of the officials who are carrying them out. Tisch was one of a number of Jewish leaders interviewed by the Daily Beast who were angry at Obama—so much so that they think the issue could affect Jewish donations to Democratic candidates this fall.

I don’t know. Tisch seems to be the only one going on record, and he supported McCain in the last election. A “powerful Democrat fund raiser” disapproves, but isn’t willing to speak on the record.
I’m afraid that most of these people are leftists first and Jews second. They may take their Jewishness seriously, but they don’t take God’s Covenant with Israel seriously. The Holocaust means more to them than the Exodus from Egypt. And they are certain that Hitler was a far right Republican.
Nothing new here from Hillary. She took money from Palestinian terrorists in her first run for the Senate, and she famously kissed Suha Arafat after Suha filled her ear all through lunch complaining about the Jews using poison gas on Palestinian babies. She has always been antisemitic.

"Jews" like Kramer and Levine won't be satisfied until Israel is cut in half and an Arab Muslim terror state on its doorstep possesses a few dozen nukes.
I pray they are finally waking up to the fact that Obama hates America, hates Israel, and actually seems to hate the West in general.
I pray that our next president, if God graces us with the chance to have another president, will be as pro-Israel as I would be.

it seems to me that many people of Jewish persuasion actively support edmocratic agendas, even if anti-Israel. sine most peopel of Jewish persuasion (I never said “ALL”) voted democratic in the last presidential election, they directly helped create the current problems with Israel.
