Kucinich: "This is a first step" [to Single Payer]
CNN ^ | 3/17/10 | CNN Wire Staff

Rep. Dennis Kucinich said Wednesday that he will continue to work toward a single-payer program, despite his decision to reverse course and support President Obama's health care plan.

"This was a detour," the Ohio Democrat told CNN's "Larry King Live."

"I'll work with the president in getting this bill passed and the president has committed to working with me to seeing further health care reforms after this bill is out of the way."

I am very surprised that the true believing socialist troll sold out to Bacrack. I bet that Rahm cautioned Dennis that he’d rape his wife and pet dog if he didn’t vote yes for the bill! :P

Does Ohio lose a seat in Congress? I’d love to see this idiot redistricted out of office!

Don’t think he sold out. Single payer is Obie’s long term goal and simply confirmed it to Martian Boy.

Ears let the cat out of the bag.

Nothing we conservatives haven't known all along. Kooksunich can be remarkably candid. He's just a Communist without the Red Star.

Only the politically illiterate middle doesn't understand that they triangulate toward a single-payer system. Marxists and Conservatives know what the stakes are in this fight.

Never thought for a moment he sold out. . .he did get much needed attention and 'appreciation' with a confirmation of course that 'good things come to those who wait'. There has never been any doubt as to health care intentions; and Dennis made the most of the deception. Dennis got all he needed - and more of course. .

Without 'pain'; this plan could go nowhere. . .and all to pathetic is that once signed; pain will be the order of the day and their will be no prescription to make it go away.

Anyone in Ohio tuned in to the truth of Obama? How 'late smart' can these people get. . .not that it matters - or rather 'will' matter if more Dems join Dennis.

Dennis may be a kook, but he’s a principled kook. Clearly Obama promised him aboard Air Force One that single payer is the long term goal.

All these people need to do is get their foot in the door. They can make changes to it later.

Well, a lot of us will be sending a message to that old boy. We, who were making mega bucks are no longer doing so and will certainly choose not to if they pass this excrement, will not be paying the massive taxes that we used to. So, Dennis, go find your single payer for this crap....Good Luck!

This is from a 2007 contact list of congressional aides. Some might not be there any longer, but worth a try. The ones on the one post are senate aides, a few have bounced back, it’s worth the effort to clog up their email system along with the phones, and 1/3rd of these senators are up for re-election.

Contact congressional aides.

Remember they are all being offered BRIBES for their votes. Ask them how much their bribe price is.
The National Republican Congressional Committee has published a target list on health care. In addition to continuing to contact the five Tennessee Democrat Congressmen, you can go http://www.votervoice.net/link/clickthrough/ext/94697.aspx to contact some of these targets. Much of the talk following Obama’s announcement has focused on how to defeat this second bill through reconciliation, but that is misleading because the first step to defeating Obamacare is not by concentrating on defeating the “fixer” bill but by defeating the Senate bill in the House when it goes to the floor for an up-or-down vote on Thursday, March 18th.

And here are toll-free numbers we can use to call any Senators or Reps.

At the first number below you must wait through a tape recording urging you to tell your Rep or Senator to vote “yes” for the health care bill. Just hang on and when the recording is over, you will get the Capitol operator. Just ask for your Rep or Senator’s office. Then you will either talk to an aid or have the chance to leave a message for him/her to vote NO on the health care bill.

When you use the second number and the Capitol operator comes on, just ask for your Rep or Senator’s office. Every time I use this number I get the Rep or Senator’s answer machine, so it may be set up that way all the time...to go to their answer machine. Either way you can leave a message to vote NO on the health care bill!

We need to use these toll free numbers that have been set up for the health care/ BO supporters and illegals to use! After all they are FREE!

This site can be used to find Political Donors

Hillbuzz has come up with an AWESOME strategy. Since Congress isn’t listening to the people, than the people must find who Congress does listen to - donors. Congress ignores the people - but it does not and can not ignore its donors. So click on the site below and find who those donors are.

http://www.newsmeat.com/

Folks - this ‘newsmeat’ site is awesome; my jaw dropped to the ground when I saw it. You can search for the donor or the candidate or even just the zip code and the numbers pop up. It tells you that donor is, how much they gave, when and where you can get hold of them. Oh, man, this is awesome! And trust me, once you find who that donor is, you contact them and tell THEM how furious you are at the candidate they’ve supported who is now taking our civil liberties away and giving us taxation without representation. Folks - trust me. Donors are spineless wussies. You start giving them grief for what Congress is doing and they’ll pass that grief on instantly to Congress. Damn! THAT will get the job done.
