The contretemps between President Obama and Israel needs to be seen in a broader global context. The president who ran against "unilateralism" in the 2008 campaign has worse relations overall with American allies than George W. Bush did in his second term.
Israelis shouldn't feel that they have been singled out. In Britain, people are talking about the end of the "special relationship" with America and worrying that Obama has no great regard for the British, despite their ongoing sacrifices in Afghanistan. In France, President Nicolas Sarkozy has openly criticized Obama for months (and is finally being rewarded with a private dinner, presumably to mend fences). In Eastern and Central Europe, there has been fear since the administration canceled long-planned missile defense installations in Poland and the Czech Republic that the United States may no longer be a reliable guarantor of security. Among top E.U. officials there is consternation that neither the president nor even his Cabinet seems to have time for the European Union's new president, Herman Van Rompuy, who, while less than scintillating, is nevertheless the chosen representative of the post-Lisbon Treaty continent. Europeans in general, while still fond of Obama, have concluded that he is not so fond of them -- despite his six trips to Europe -- and is more of an Asian president.

You are onto something. A lot has been written about Obama’s malignant narcissism, psychopathy and related issues, but I haven’t seen much about his addiction/dysfunction. He has the symptoms of this disorder writ large all over him. The scary thing about addiction dysfunction is that without major intervention it can only get steadily worse. Pressure speeds and intensifies the process. I think he’s probably dealing with a lack of some mix of narcotics that he used to use, and is substituting cigarettes and alcohol. The expanding use of the latter is the one to watch out for. As he becomes more focused on self medicating other priorities will fade. Eventually the problem will surface publicly. Who knows how much damage he will have done by then.
Hopefully. Then this peeriod will be taught in class to be our darkest and I’m not just talking about skin color either.

Despite the fact that Asians look down on him solely because of his skin color and think of him as a total idiot.
He has steadily insulted billions of people he should be befriending.
And he bows to enemies and those he should snub.
This is a man of immeasurable hatefulness.

True. Much as I would love to see him have a public meltdown, it is not good for the country.
Don’t really see it your way. The sooner this country realizes how dire the situation is the sooner the American people will fix it. A public meltdown would bring a quick fix, imho.
You’re probably right, I was just thinking of how our enemies would use the video.

That is a valid concern. It would only work, though, if nothing happened and Obama were left untouched by the meltdown. I don’t believe the country would stand for that. But I haven’t always been the best prognosticator. ;)
