Thank you. Very sentimental holiday, for my Father is not here and well when the tune Danny Boy plays there is not a dry eye in the house. Celebrating at my Mother’s today, amazing how my Late Father, who is of Irish descent taught my petite Japanese Mother how to make a delicious Corned Beef and Cabbage.

Had the shepherds pie several times with the wife last year on a trip to Ireland. Not made with sheep testicles...I don’t think. Actually the biggest surprise in our trip was how good the food was. And we ate in a lot of pubs as well as restaurants. Our greatest trip ever.

I was told his mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, was of Irish extraction. There’s even a Dunham family crest. Funny, it doesn’t bear any resemblance to the Obama logo.
