The Hurva Synagogue was the premier Jewish place of worship in Jerusalem's Old City in the 19th and early 20th Centuries -- until Jordanian troops destroyed it in 1948. On March 15, after several years of painstaking restoration, it came to life again -- an exact replica of the old Hurva.
In the week before its reopening, however, the Palestinian Authority unleashed a vicious conspiracy campaign that falsely claimed that reopening the Hurva was a prelude to Israel's intent to destroy Al-Aqsa Mosque on Temple Mount to make room for the Third Jewish Temple. Palestinian officials called on Arabs to rush into the Old City by the thousands to "defend" Al-Aqsa -- the usual rallying cry for violent riots and the unleashing of stone barrages from Temple Mount on Jewish worshippers below at the Western Wall. Israeli authorities had to deploy several thousand police to prevent what could have been a bloody conflagration.

But you do have to point out that there is no "Jewish Section," in the Old City so far as the A-rabs are concerned. This is an area that was occupied by Jorden (Ooooh. "Occupied," is such a bad word, I know.) in 1948, and they expelled all the Jews who were there. None was even allowed to visit until 1967 when Jordan attacked Israel, and Israel while prevailing took control of the Old City (where "The Wall" is). But in 1967, no Muslims were expelled from the "Muslim Section" of the Old City.
An if the truth be known, the A-rabs wouldn't have the Jews in the western part of Jerusalem either; or Tel Aviv for that matter.

Always the Jews fault....just look to history and one will see how the NYT came to this awe inspiring conclusion.....=.=
Enough is enough. As I and my fellow Jews close in on another Passover, I would ask of God, “Do You possibly have any plagues that were not used the last time ? Nothing drastic please, but something very message giving.”
Why should He send another plague since we Jews continue to ignore Him?

WE Jews are NOT ignoring HIM. Many are. Too damn many are. Loudmouth LIBERAL ones are. I (maybe you too!) are NOT ignoring HIM, and seek his love hourly and daily. I ask not for terrible retribution, rather something aggravating, inconvenient and message sending.
As this disaster plays out, it is the Left of Judiasm who will cry out in horror, “O God, how could You let this happen ONCE AGAIN!”

The NYT and its “liberal” followers are racists. They don’t think inferior (in their view) Arabs can or should be expected to meet the same standards as Israelis and other peoples of the civilized world.
Now that one of their own has control of the White House, they seem to me much like Dr. Strangelove and in their excitement and zeal can let their true feelings out- about Isreal, racism, marxism, and their efforts to keep themselves in power forever.
I agree. That was a good analysis. I suppose the progressive literati don’t actually think Arabs and other “people of color” are inferior. Their policies, though, rest on the assumption that white Western “liberals” are needed to save them.
