Perhaps this has been announced but I missed it if it has. If it has not been in the media, we have an obligation to spread the word. If I am wrong about this, please forgive me.

so...they are going to vote on a rule which if passed will “deem” them to have passed the Senate Bill, including a Public Option which the Senate never really passed?

On the other hand it does explain why Kucinich appears to be wobbling.

Does it matter what is in the shell bill? It is only a vehicle to get a bill before a committee so that it can be gutted and whatever legislation Nancy wants to be inserted into a new bill that will have deemed to be passed. I have no doubt the public option and other as-sundry items will be included by the committee.

This is the first step to the Slaughter solution. Hopefully the courts will shoot it down as un-Constitutional which it is.

“There are, I’m sure, those who are going to want make this about the legislative process rather than the heart-wrenching stories of people like Natoma Canfield that the president discussed yesterday,” Gibbs said.

The press secretary can always be counted on to bray like jacka$$.

If true, this may be the killer provision that will doom reconciliation ever getting to the Senate.

Obozo will sign the original bill and drop healthcare fast.

It sure explains why Pelosi so flagrantly said the bill should just be passed, and then everyone can find out afterward what is in it. They are sneaking this in, and will probably stuff other things in at the last minute too. There is no way to be certain what we will end up with if anything, in any form, is passed under the banner of a Health Care Reform bill. Who knows what the final draft will contain. This is such a criminal act being committed by these demonized politicians and shoved down the throat of Americans.

Neil Cavuto said Rush gave out the numbers for congress to his listeners and now the phone lines are overloaded.
The numbers are also listed on Rush’s page.

Here is one of the ones he gave out on the radio that I’m calling. So far it’s been busy but I’m going to burn it up till I get to tell my congress critter to vote NO!

Of course it does. That’s why Kucinich flipped his vote.

Please note:

I believe this was the "shell" bill that was posted in order to provide a placeholder for changes to be made later. Whether those changes are made and of what they will consist is anyone's guess.

Washington today is as transparent as the Mississippi delta waters at flood stage. Anything is possible because nothing is beneath the designs of our supposed "leaders".

The Reconciliation bill is a non-issue. There is no way it will pass the Senate. It is simply a diversion to convince House members to pass the Senate bill.

All that matters right now is the Senate bill. It if passes the House, it becomes law regardless of any reconciliation.
