Fox News To Conduct “Extended, Exclusive” Interview With Pres. Obama
MediaITE ^ | 03/16/10 | Steve Krakauer

While Speaker Nancy Pelosi talks “Deem and Pass,” President Barack Obama is going a different route – he’s talking to Fox News.

In an “extended, exclusive” interview tomorrow he will sit down with Special Report anchor Bret Baier to make his health care reform pitch to the FNC audience. What a long, strange trip it’s been.

The interview will air in full at 6pmET tomorrow and will take place earlier in the afternoon. “We welcome the opportunity to sit down with the President and try to get some specifics on the health care legislation,” said Baier in making the announcement right after NoonET today on Fox News

It's ALL for show. FOX IS Media. It's about RATINGS. Murdock, Ailes, Media. WHEN will people catch on?

Rev James David Manning
Steve Cooper
These two do not rely on money from Media. There are others. Find them. Learn who to trust for truth.

Or is that whom to trust?

Whatever, find those who speak the truth and learn from them, not from Media no matter what they say about “fair” and “balanced.” It’s all a gimmick.

The Saudis have a say in it, otherwise he would have never agreed to go on.

Every question will need pre-approval.

Reality check:

Given the character of FOX’s new ownership, it is possible O views the interview as an opportunity. He may be using this interview as support for his contention to insiders and skeptics that he now essentially “owns” FOX.

Lets assume the interview is not live and that FOX conducts the interview as we believe it should.

O will have editing rights and will not knowingly allow a negative interview to be released; and, he has the power to prevent such release. Any non-release could be explained away by a last-minute conflict that requires “rescheduling” of the interview. In such event, of course, a more suitable interview will be prepared.

Oceander is correct: “This is a blood fight, not a pleasant little Sunday afternoon teaparty chat.”

Anyone who doubts that statement should take a closer look at what is presently occurring, and the tactics being used, under Marxist O and the prominent socialists in his government.

Forgot about Rove! Rove and Palin I expect are the last two that Axelrod would allow.

Fox doesn’t have new ownership and especially no new editorial leadership.

Oh so Obma thinks he can come and demand that we all surrender on healthcare and believe his lies about it? I hope Brett’s staff has read the bill and has outlines so he can ask Obama directly from the highlighted parts I’d like to see his reaction to his claims paired against what the bill really says!

Obama can’t handle an interview that isn’t platitudes and softballs. If this guy goes after him, the ‘bama will have a meltdown.

Thanks for the heads up. Will give me a chance to select skip for Bret’s program tomorrow. I don’t need to hear anything Obama has to say. HE IS A LIAR, DECEIVER, AND MANIPULATOR!

“Fox doesn’t have new ownership and especially no new editorial leadership.”

Well, you may be correct.
For how long has there been a 7%+- SA interest in this major U.S. news operation?

Whether the editorial leadership is new or not would seem to be irrelevant, if management issues a directive the employees have two choices.

I’m afraid it will be an 0bamao love fest - just like the rest of the media.

Why doesn’t Obozo go to Matthews or Olbermann, or is his ass sore from all those tongue ablutions?

The only thing I have agreed with is that ‘the time for talk is over.’

I don’t care if Glenn Beck does the interview. I have no interest in anything the Scarecrow In Chief has to say especially on this topic.

I agree. President Zero is just unwatchable. He simply will not go away and I guarantee he won't leave you alone if given the chance. I enjoy Special Report but I won't be watching the Zero report tomorrow.

First, I’m surprised that the White House didn’t insist on O’Reilly. It would be a love-fest like the last interview BOR did.

Second, who would like to bet that O’Reilly will say on his show tonight that Obama chose Bret instead of him because the White House is scared to death of the “No-Spin Zone?”

You are all wet. You look at oranges and see rotten apples. Your bias is misguided.

The man invested in News Corp because it is a strong force in righting the political wrongs in America.

He gave a long interview on Cavuto and showed himself to be an extremely astute businessman (one of the best in the world) and one with a strong liking for America and strong belief in News Corp.

The interview might still be found on the Fox Business
channel web site.

You seem to believe he intends to destroy News Corp. The opposite is true. He also sees tremendous growth in the Gulf Region and west Asia for new News Corp products. It is a big world out there.....far bigger than the USA alone
