Were you able to catch the afternoon show?
He brought up the lie that’s propelling this enslavement bill and asked the right questions.
The lie of people dying because they don’t have healthcare available to them.
He was commenting on that poor lil’ boys impassioned tale about his ma dying from hypertension because she had lost her job and ergo, her medical coverage.
Glenn asked why didn’t she apply for her states Medicaid?-that’s what it’s there for- such a case as hers.

I ask that too. No one in the media asks questions like that. No one talks about that. I was left with 2 possible answers.
1) Either she was just dumb as a stump stupid. (highly unlikely)
or 2) She exceeded the threshold of “resources” allowed for her state and didn’t want to shed herself of some goodies to meet that requirement. But I have trouble squaring that because IF it was true that she a fast food worker trying to raise 3 kids on that income there wouldn’t be much left for ‘toys’. Was she getting extra help? say, via child support or something? So many unanswered questions!!

BUT the good news is that since she died outside the help of Medicaid, her kids won’t be on the hook for her expenses that she might have incurred.
That’s the part Medicaid doesn’t tell you about...it’s not really “insurance”, it’s a loan!

I want to know why she didn’t just go see a doctor when she was vomiting up blood when she DID have health insurance through her job. But she didn’t. And then she got sick. And then she lost her job and her health insurance. SHE made the decision to not seek medical help.

At the first number below you must wait through a tape recording urging you to tell your Rep or Senator to vote “yes” for the health care bill. Just hang on and when the recording is over, you will get the Capitol operator. Just ask for your Rep or Senator’s office. Then you will either talk to an aid or have the chance to leave a message for him/her to vote NO on the health care bill.

When you use the second number and the Capitol operator comes on, just ask for your Rep or Senator’s office. Every time I use this number I get the Rep or Senator’s answer machine, so it may be set up that way all the time...to go to their answer machine. Either way you can leave a message to vote NO on the health care bill!

We need to use these toll free numbers that have been set up for the health care/ BO supporters and illegals to use! After all they are FREE!

it is just like bringing folks to Christ...

That's what I try to keep telling myself...just a random remark, a quick conversation with a customer- who knows what might trigger them to snap out of their stupor? It is a lot like spreading the Gospel, you nailed that there.

I’m pretty sure I read that. At any rate, she developed the hypertension while she was working. She died 9 months after she lost her job.

Ah shucks...I guess it's cause I have a 24 yr. old brain stuck in a 50+ body! I'm getting too old to fight, but I can't let it go! Back in the day I was always up for some good ol’ civil disobedience and merry prankster activism (cleverly disguised as vandalism, lol.) I know I'm doing right by my kids and I am proud at how they are standing up for themselves and their beliefs, but...oy...oh to be 20 years younger!!!
