Yes. I go back and forth on the “action” issues. At some point I expect the straw to break the camel's back.
I talk to lots of people daily as one of my job function(s). They are from all over the country. Many that have never spoken to me about politics in 10 or so years now go on rants about the political situation - mostly from a conservative view. That gives me hope.
To: mad_as_he$$
I can see that point of view..I have a bunch of kumbiya types around me most days..America is evil, Corp.'s are evil, standard lib mantra.
Its the by and large people that don't pay attention to any of this that gives me the greatest concern.

I have been half tempted to buy a cash cell phone, which would give me an untraceable but local number, and make some very nasty calls.
Doubt if I’ll do it, but the thought gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling.

And this vote is on the unaltered Senate bill, right? So directly to The Pretender’s desk.

Hopefully Clyburn spoke too quickly as Hannity just announced moments after telling his radio audience that Jason Altmire was a yes vote, his office called to say they haven’t gone there -—— yet! He’s being hounded on both sides.

Gordon is a closet socialist and he is retiring this year. He had nothing to lose.

Good point! Just tell pelosi you are voting "yea". That would keep the thugs from waterbording you. Pelosi will think she has it in the bag and call for the vote. Then, switch to "no". From what I have heard, they need to get 25 undecideds to vote "yea". So, when the vote is taken, the bill goes down in flames.
Do that and they might get reelected, or they might not. BUT for sure if Piglosi is still in charge of the House they will be stripped of their chairmanships, denied any new committee chairs, and denied DNC funds for reelection. The RATS really have themselves in a quandary - and their answer (propagandized by the state run media) is that it is all the GOP's fault this thing hasn't passed. I hear it on a daily basis from the dumbed down MTV generation - "Can't get it passed because of those evil Repugs."

Wow! Missed that. I love Bolton and I thought I respected Thune. Not quite sure I understand that one. Have to google and educate myself. Just damn.

Wow, I really hope I never meet your sick twisted “god” who doesn’t forgive the sins of his people. Christ died for sinners...there is no commitment to eternal death that is stronger than his redeeming love.

The filing deadline has passed. Potential Republican challengers to Altmire are Mary Beth Buchanan and Keith Rothfus.
To: scrabblehack
"The filing deadline has passed."
I did not know that. The primary is in May so I guess we're getting close. Do you know anything about the two challengers? I have not heard anything about them. I suspect that Tom Corbett should be able to pull a lot of conservative voters to the polls with his run for governor. Perhaps they can get on his coat tails. I guess two tries was enough for Hart.
To: o2bfree
Well I suspect that for Rep. John Boccieri, Rep. Jason Altmire, Rep. Barty Gordon, and Rep. Brian Baird... in all likelihood there is hidden camera video of these guys each doing drugs with prostitutes in a cheap motel.
I’m pretty sure each is cheating on their wives just like John Edwards, the Democrats ultimate standard for high moral fiber. Whether they are cheating with a staffer or a powerful supporter, it doesn’t matter in the end. Each one is unfaithful to their families and their country, and there is evidence available that can and probably is being used as blackmail to change their votes.
Blackmail is a powerful tool, and the Communist Democrats are more susceptible than most due to their inherent lack of moral judgment.

“This is the unaltered Senate bill.”
I had the impression that there would be some modifications, like removing individual state pork like the Louisiana item. Also that some items gleaned from Os meeting with the Republicans would be added. Correct me if I am wrong someone.
