I heard earlier that the Republicans will run on repealing this Bill if it passes and that they will use whatever process the ‘Rats used to pass it to repeal it. I presume that means if they use Reconciliation, that’s what the ‘pubs will use.

This I gotta see - GOP acting like RATS? Never happen, but I certainly encourage the GOP to run on 'repealing Obamacare' even though we all know man-child would veto any such bill. Remember the RATS are using every trick in the book to pass it, BUT that includes having the man-child as President who will sign it in a heartbeat.

We're doomed if this passes. Be prepared to kiss AMERICA goodbye. Hope you all like Europe.

May I suggest you take a deep breath. We don’t really know if Clyburn is really telling the truth. It may be just a ploy to make dem no voters think its a done deal so they jump to the yes column.

The big gorilla in the room is the looming mid-term and presidential elections. The only reason any dem is voting no is because it’s pretty clear that they won’t be going back to public trough in Washington if they vote yes.

Being bribed with pork will not do anything for the principled (sarc) pols as far as being reelected. Of course they might still be persuaded to vote yes if they’ve been naughty sometime in the past.

I would hope that some pubbie has the courage to out any yes voter who could have been coerced to vote yes because of a sordid past. Surely pubbies, like the demrats, do character assassination investigations.

Have tried for the last hour+ to get faxes through to Altmire, Boccieri and Bart Gordon - no dice.

Also called all three, and the lines were busy, except for Altmire but the staff didn’t pick up and let it go to voicemail (twice), and the mailbox was FULL, and couldn’t take my message.

Finally got through to one of Bart Gordon’s staffers and gave him a piece of my mind.

Methinks they are getting an earful...whether they listen to the will of the American people, only God knows.
