>With regards to me: piss on Romney, piss on McCain, and piss on their buddy Obama.
Honestly, I’d rather vote for Obama who, despite being a big ****head, is predictable and to whom the American people will stand up against, rather than McCain.
My reasoning is this: Obama is poised on being a lame-duck president, especially with the mid-term elections coming up. If we get a truly conservative {note: NOT “Republican”} Congress then we, as a people, can start getting spending down. BUT, considering that historically the Congress gains more members of the opposite party (one reason I dislike the two-party system) as the President’s... it wouldn’t do to let the “Democrats” make the otherwise-nonexistent gain by electing the Democrat-disguised-as-a-Republican we all know: John McCain.
Romney, likewise, seems to be a democrat-with-an-’R.’ There’s Romney-care, there’s flip-flops on abortion on who he’s talking to...
It is ESSENTIAL that we have Representatives that actually, you know, represent the people in their districts. THAT is far more important to our nation than ‘D’ or ‘R.’
And for all the “Sarah for Pres” people out there, I disagree... I think she would be much better in the position of Attorney General than in the office of the President because of how she handled the corruption & mismanagement in Alaska which we have federal laws against...
McCain:”[Senator Obama] is a decent person and a person that you do not have to be scared about as President of the United States,” he said, before adding: “If I didn’t think I would be one heck of a better president I wouldn’t be running.”
The crowd groaned with disapproval.

Let’s put it this way. McCain certainly wants to run again. But hopefully the party pros have more sense than to let him.
Although if it were up to Steele, he’d probably say, “Sure, Juan, go ahead!”
As former President George W, Bush said: “Fool me once, shame on .....you....If you fooled me you can’t get fooled again!”

If he wins in 2010, then McCain continues to be a Senator. McCain has very little base to draw upon to make a second presidential run. Conservatives don't want him in the White House, and moderates already thumbed their nose at him. McCain would not make it past Iowa in the primaries.
I would love to piss on McCain, only if he was dieing of thirst.
‘.... will McCain run again?’
ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!! my head just exploded !!!!!!!!
If the Republicans have ANY clue, they will surely not have McCain as their candidate.
I doubt it. America will not accept him period.
I'd put his chances of winning at under 1%. Here is hoping he actually runs again, so we can crush him for good this time.
Only if he learns how to use the internet by then.
Just kidding, I wouldn’t vote for him for dog-catcher.
Ridiculous.
I will not vote for McCain or Romney. Period.
I don’t care who the Democrats run. I don’t care how dire the situation is in 2012. I simply will not compromise my values to vote for Democrat Lite ever again.
I refuse to vote for anyone who thinks that our most basic rights are negotiable or thinks that our sovereignty and national security are up for grabs to the highest bigger.
So many of rabid McCain voters tried to make the rest of us feel guilty for refusing to support his train wreck of a candidacy.
They said that if only we’d vote for him, they’d work tirelessly after the election and they’d make it known to all that McCain was the last privileged, lying, elitist, out of touch screwball any of us would ever have to vote for again.
So, to anyone who who wheedled, begged, pleaded with or tried to coerce the rest of us into swallow our decency and voting for that liberal loser....
Y’all better get to work mucking out the barn. That giant pile of RINO poop you promised to get rid of is getting dangerously high & deeper by the day.
Of course McCain will seriously consider running again - he hasn’t the wit to retire to “senior statesman” status like Bob Dole did in 1996, after losing to a clearly inferior opponent.
A rematch in 2012 between McCain and Obama in 2012 serves nobody.
If anything, McCain SHOULD have resigned his seat in the US Senate in 2008, and run full-time for the office of President. So should have Obama, too, but we aren’t going to get any do-overs now.
How is this a conservative nightmare?
McCain isn’t a conservative. And everyone knows it.
We will have his sorry butt kicked to the curb early in the primaries.
I wouldn’t say I expect Juan to run again, but I would not be at all surprised if he heard his country’s call once more.
Why stop there? While you are making silly vanity posts, why not start posts on “What will happen if Bob Dole runs again!?!?!?” and “What will happen if Bush 1 runs again!?!?!?”
McWHO???
50 posts on something that absolutely positively will not happen.
The last Republican to win the nomination, lose the General Election and then get the nomination again was Tom Dewey in 1944 and 1948. We all know how that worked out.
The Democrats last tried that in 1952 and 1956 with Adlai Stevenson.
You get one shot once you get the nomination. You lose, it’s over. You are now an elder statesman.
John McCain is not going to run for President. IT WILL NOT HAPPEN. PERIOD.
Alien Space Bats could not make it happen.
Instead of 50 posts about a Senator with an ACU rating of 65. Let’s try stopping a President with an ACU rating of 8?
McCain will be very lucky to survive the challenge for the US Senate seat from JD Hayworth, but it's really stretching things to imagine that he'll ever again be chosen as the Republican standard bearer for President.
He's more unpopular now, among conservatives, than he was before the 2008 election. He's waaaaaay past his prime, and really just needs to retire to the golf course. He will not be able to attract much support without a shining star standing next to him (as Sarah Palin was).
Need I go on?
