[BREAKING] JAPAN MAINSTREAM "NIKKEI" NEWS CALLS OBAMA CANCELLING ASIA TRIP (VIA TWITTER) "INSULTING"

The Japanese daily equivalent to the American "Wall Street Journal", the "Nihon Keizai Shimbun" (or "Nikkei" for short) has run a Japanaese language story just now reporting the slamming that Obama and Gibbs are getting for not only cancelling the Obama Asian trip, but in the rather crass, cavalier, informal and rude way it was apparantly gingerly announced (by Gibbs apparantly) through "Twitter".
Alludes in Japanese that this is insulting in an Asian context.
Original article (link provided to Japanese) is: 米大統領のアジア歴訪延期、「ツイッター発表」で波紋
Or my translation: "Obama's Asian Trip Postponement; (White House) Announcement Via 'Twitter' Causes Waves"

This here Japanese article I found, concluded with actually totalling up the record days W went without a press conference....and then put in Obama's days which breaks the record...and then inferred that the President is hiding from the Ameican Press for some reason (dipping polls). It really is going to raise some welts, his story. I am very glad that Drudge, Breitbart and maybe some others (Malkin? Coulter?, etc.?) will run with it today. It is a juicy story. Bravo Nikkei!

It's stuff like this that creates the low confidence in our leaders, as per
the Harris Poll data quoted here and elsewhere. Their best efforts to sugar-coat these poll results don't quite cover the sad state of our country's affairs that this poll shows. Sadly, Harris Polls are usually skewed somewhat to the left, so it's probably even worse than this.

So, lets see. Obama has ticked off the Japaneese, Israel, England, Poland, all the eastern European democracies, Turkey, Sarkozy in France and Honduras.
IIRC, he wasn't a 'great hit' in Egypt either.

Well....gotta throw in the towel here about now, DT様, as you can well guess, it is coming up on 0230 local Sunday a.m.. ....soon the trash trucks will be starting and waking up the neighborhood. best to get into as deep a slumber as possible, and soon, so lights out in just a few more minutes. thanks for the ping, too. Yep, the big man Obongo truly is very, very 失礼 to all of Asia, isn't he!? And he is our "first Asian President" (barf). This guy is like a bull in a China closet. Amazing. Simply amazing. This cannot be by accident. It must be an agenda of some sort to foster ill will toward America to the four corners of the earth. I'd say, they are doing a very good job at it.

You would think Zer0 would show just a little courtesy to one of the biggest buyers of our debt. But socializing health care is more important to this Marxist s.o.b.

I will tell you, **I** can feel it on a personal level here in Asia, and and I am not exaggerating. He is REALLY bringing our American international image down into the dumps, into one of America being a rude, dangerous, ghetto-like, careless, arrogant and nasty superpower that doesn'tknow it's true place these days: DECLINE.
A real leader like a Ronald Reagan would turn that around in 90 days.

I’m not sure what this change in plans entails, but I understood that the main purpose of this trip was to take a vacation in Indonesia, where he expected to be worshipped by all the Obama worshippers there.
Instead, there were photos yesterday of Muslim Indonesians protesting the visit by jumping up and down on portraits of Obama that they had put on the ground.
In other words, the standard bottom-of-the-shoe Muslim insult. I don’t think he was expecting that, narcissist that he is. He was expecting to be idolized and worshipped by his Indonesian buddies.

Obama is a humiliation to this country, and yet the media still reports as though he’s a foreign policy genius. Thanks again for posting—we get the real skinny here on FR, thanks to folks like you.

The shoe shine boy in the White House was raised by parents/grandparents who came from the lowest rungs of the social ladder. Then he was exposed to Chicago gangster-politics. Do you really expect him to exhibit class and grace? Those two virtues are foreign to him.
To: ken5050
Everytime I see that pic he reminds me of Mussolini..All of the state-controlled media have hundreds of similar pictures on file. Then they also have the "halo" photos with the presidential or 0bama emblem behind his head. And they know they have to keep a fresh supply of those kinds of images coming.
This guy is modeling himself after Mussolini, both in image and policy. He just needs to gain another 60 pounds, and remember that Mussolini was despised and ridiculed behind his back by even his allies.

Jakarata, INDONESIA, ASIA (Yesterday):
I kid you NOT:
You see, the fundamental thing about human nature, and particularly in Asia, WEAKNESS INVITES DISDAIN AND LACK OF RESPECT. Obama is proving to be good at this.

It is worse than sending the Queen of England DVDs as a present. Unviewable DVDs.
Bought for cheap!!!
Correction, he gave the Prime Minister of the UK, unviewable DVDs. He gave the Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and 15 other countries an iPod with his collected speeches on it.
At least in her case, she can delete the speeches and load the iPod with music she likes...
Gordon Brown has to shell out for a multi region DVD player, and he can't view the movies anyway, since he is going blind due to a medical condition.
But, according to the Democrats, Obama is a much better foreign policy President...
