**Artist Showcase**
Eva Marie Cassidy (February 2, 1963 November 2, 1996) was an American vocalist known for her interpretations of jazz, blues, folk, gospel, country and pop classics. In 1992 she released her first album, The Other Side, a set of duets with go-go musician Chuck Brown, followed by a live solo album, Live at Blues Alley in 1996. Although she had been honored by the Washington Area Music Association, she was virtually unknown outside her native Washington, DC when she died of melanoma in 1996.
*Canteen Mission Statement*

The library fund raising is moving along. She got a call this afternoon from a local business that chipped in a $100. They chipped in because when the wife dropped off an info packet all of the employees, most of whom, live in the area were all excited about a new library.
Here is a link to our local library...

The school board which runs the library system here has to make a call by mid May IIRC.
I are off this weekend but unfortunately we are looking drippy day tomorrow:-( The oldest daughter has the use of a Dingo for the next week and we were hoping to get some work done. Maybe Sunday the weather will be better.

Ah, another classic with a more contemporray twist.
Harry Warren's "You'll Never Know" was recorded in 1973 by Denny Doherty in his post-Mamas & Papas period. Some of the group members backed him up anonymously on the recording.
