Gallup Polls: Younger Americans More Strongly Pro-Life on Abortion
Washington, DC -- The Gallup polling agency released an analysis today of its polling data going back to 1975 and it found that younger Americans are currently more strongly pro-life than middle-aged Americans. The polling results give the pro-life movement hope that public opinion will continue moving in the pro-life direction.

I suspect that most of the Baby Boom generation would not exist had abortion been legalized before the end of WWII.
I have to think part of that reason is because sonograms are becoming the norm. When my wife had our kids, you only got sonograms if there were complications in the surgery. Now everyone gets them and people can see this little baby in the first trimester.
Then why can't the dumb cluck liberals and government see abortion is premeditated murder?
I’ve been wondering, it is probably wishful thinking, if the youngsters realize they were lied to by obozo, made a bad choice, are more conservative than the old hippies, are sobered by the HUGE debt and less bright future they may face.
My experience though is that they don’t accept criticism, failure or correction very well. Even when it is offered constructively.
That’s because Conservatives have more children than Leftists do. Conservatives will win this fight on population demographics alone. The Leftists will simply breed themselves out of existence by simply not breeding.
Will this news drive the Left even more batty than they already are? Yeah, baby, yeah!
I think they realize that 1/3 of them are not here because they were aborted. I think they realize that the preceeding generation (of which I am a member) not only lied to them, but acted in the most selfishly immoral manner possible and passed the consequences of that to their generation. Ironically, as we become “old and in the way”, it may come back around in ways the “Boomers” won’t like much.
Some adages never die:
What goes around comes around.
We reap what we sow.
Personally, I wonder if they take enough time not thinking about themselves to consider that 1/3 of them aren’t here.
Now if we can just get them to see the light on the gay agenda, we’re all set.
A sign of the Least Great Generation getting older.
A big part of this is that the stigma of unwed motherhood is gone. Having a baby at 17 no longer marks a girl for life.
Having had an abortion at 19 and lived to regret it the rest of my life, I can attest that my other sons have not condemingly remarked that knowing they had a sibling who never got born has given them a personal reason to be anti abortion.
I don’t doubt this is a strong reason why this generation is anti abortion. They are keenly aware that their generation would be much larger had this not been legal.
Some think, but you’re right that probably most don’t. I see it more of an intuitive knowledge than a cognitive matter. We see it in the cold and casual way many look upon the deaths of others, for example. It’s a spiritual problem with profound spiritual consequences in my opinion.
You can take polls, but they vote for abortion.
66% of the 18-29 year old vote was for Obama.
Most ObaMao voters, probably especially in that age group, didn’t care or know about his abortion views.
