The No-mentum is getting to the White House. News is breaking out all over that President Obama will be delaying his trip to Asia from Thursday to March 21. It’s also being reported that the First Lady and his daughters, who had planned to accompany him, will no longer be traveling with him. Jake Tapper writes:
“The President will delay leaving for Indonesia and Australia – will now leave Sunday – the First Lady and the girls will not be on the trip,” White House press secretary Robert Gibbs sent out on twitter this morning.
Gibbs had expressed irritation yesterday with a question during the daily press briefing about this trip being something of a vacation for the family, with Sasha and Malia on spring break.
“It’s not a vacation at all,” he said back to a reporter. Touchy, touchy.

Rats! Was hoping he’d be gone. Every time Obama goes anywhere, I keep hoping he will be kidnapped and held for ransom. Then no one will pay the ransom (sorta like the movie Ruthless People).

The last time in Japan he shook the emperor’s hand while simultaneously deeply bowing. In Japan that is like eating spaghetti and meatballs with your hands at a state dinner.
