'Crazy Misogynistic Culture': Blow's Bizarre Excuse For Pelosi Mishandling Of Massa Mess
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Posted on 03/12/2010 5:40:07 AM PST by governsleastgovernsbest

How much of a pickle is Pelosi potentially in? Enough that Dem loyalist Charles Blow had to resort to some truly twisted reasoning to explain away her delay in responding to allegations against Eric Massa.

Of all things, the New York Times columnist tried to excuse Pelosi's failure to act by blaming . . . "our crazy misogynistic culture." Huh?

Blow offered his odd opinion on today's Morning Joe. Mika Brzezinski was surprisingly skeptical.

Personally I’m concerned for the number of closet gays there appears to be in Washington DC. It seems that the number on both sides is higher than is represenative of society.

It seems that way, doesn't it?

For years and years we've been told by DemocRats that they are the sole champions of gays everywhere. Only the DemocRats represent gays. Now, they run one of their own out of Congress using the excuse that it is because he's gay? The hypocrisy meter is off the scale.....then again, it stays off the scale anytime DemocRats are involved......

The 'Best of Craigslist' had couple of good stories about that issue.

Just keep in mind the Democrat Party is a coalition of Sexual Perverts, big money unions, the entitlement groups (aka: GIMME! Groups) a lot of wealthy power seekers and idiots in general.

Do you remember years ago when a certain Democrat* during the primaries for President whined about having to put up with Sodomites?

(*whose name I can't remember)

Agreed but there seems to be an extraordinary number of gay republicans as well. I’m just wondering if the go to congress that way or something happens to them while they’re there.

Blow is aptly named.

I thought the interesting thing here was the video of Pelosi on Maddow. You needn’t be a CIA expert in lie detection to know that her halting speech, shifting eyes and tentative facial expression showed her to be lying. This woman is a disgrace.

Pelosi was definitely in a bind:

How could she criticize Massa for behaving the way such a large percentage of her constituents act on a daily basis?

How could she accuse him of doing something wrong without offending her electorate?

"Palin’s chipper visage, baseless certitude, utter obliviousness and unwavering belief in her own destiny make her an ideal vessel for [...] mounting white discontent."

Takes an awful lot of smug, self-adoring gasbag chutzpah for Obama's journalistic Knob-Polisher Par Excellence to accuse anydamnone of "misogyny," after hacking up rhetorical hairballs the likes of that one, above.

Is it just me...or does the confluence of a story about a corrupt (allegedly), possibly gay, Democrat ex congressman, being defended by a columnist named Blow...seem a little too convenient? The story almost writes itself.

Massa’s gone. Neurotic Nancy should resign.

“...Massa’s gone. Neurotic Nancy should resign....”

The only way SanFranNan will leave the Hill is either in a body bag or a straight jacket, kicking and screaming. She WILL NEVER go quietly on her own. To her, that would be the most epic fail that could ever occur. She will have to be removed either at the ballot box, or by arrest.

To me, what stands out most about this episode in contrast to Mark Foley and Larry Craig is how much gay-bashing there was from the left — from politicians and pundits to journalists and celebrities — while not a single Republican has even given a thought to making an issue of it in the Massa case.

Then Blow said this:

“In the investigation there may be something that comes to a head.”

Maybe, just maybe the Republicans have finally learned to not take the bait. When someone is making a hypocritical fool out of themselves, as the DemocRat "leadership" is clearly doing, the best idea by far is to not get in the way.....

Either/or/any works for me.

So, I guess that means that politicians and Hair Stylists have lots in common?
