I think they are beginning to realize that if they pass this monstrosity, they will be out of power for the foreseeable future. That’s all the Repub’s will have to say is “remember the Health Care debacle” and it will last.

If they were smart, they lick their wounds now, take the defeat in November and start working their way back. The R’s will again do stupid things that will make people try the Dems again. If they force this thing through, they will be out of power for a long, long time.

There are 4 vacant House seats that won't be filled for weeks.

No wonder the 'Rats are in a hurry, eh?

Thank God.

I was worried Pelosi had a few votes in her hip pocket beyond those who voted for it last time. Guess I gave her too much credit for being an effective leader.

Maybe the Rats are just fixing the statistics.

They know how many votes they need, how many and which seats will be up for election, and who is most vulnerable.

Maybe they are just trying to figure out how small they can make their kamikaze squad and still get the bill passed while impacting their hold on Congress the least.

You guys quit countin’ your chicks so quickly. We’ve seen it before, this is the age of corruption, lies, deceit and dictatorship building.

I think that is why Lincoln Davis of South Tennessee was allowed to vote “no” on the first Health Care vote — now they need his vote, and they are calling in his marker.

I submit that there's no "maybe" about it. This is exactly what they are doing.

According to my Congressman: Health Care Reconciliation will be in the Budget Committee on MONDAY! I am on the Budget Committee. I’ll be fighting it every step of the way!

Notice Brian Baird is now unable to overcome his usual Marxist tendencies. He got plenty of push back in the town meetings last year, but now that he’s bailing, he has no problem pushing us down the road to socialism. Hope he enjoyed his last junket, oink.

I just heard they will push cap n tax next, followed by immigration reform. I guess their plan is to scream “Republican Obstruction” this November, that’s not going to work well.

in a very bizarre kind of way, maybe Eric Massa has rallied a number of Dems against this administration and their bullying tactics

I agree too. They’re passing out the dresses so the “ladies” can get into the life boats before the water comes over the sides.

Really? I hope so. Can’t believe he won that seat, and he’s voted pretty much with Pelosi down the line. How on earth did he get elected? Everyone’s been saying Virginia is rapidly turning blue, but sheesh.

"Pereillo is the walking dead here in VA."

I hate it that I don't live in his district, just so I could vote against that punk.

If Nancy had the votes they would have voted. The more that the dems see that it is not going to pass, it will allow those dems up for re-election in Nov. to also vote no. It is going to begin to burst at the seams. They probably will not let it come to a vote to protect the presidents reputation.

Have you paid attention to what just happened in VA’s recent elections? The GOP won all three statewide offices by an average of 19% of the vote. Also 9 House rat incumbents were sent packing. This was a pure anti-Obama/anti-Democrat vote. The temper tantrum of 2008 is over and common sense is prevailing in VA which is red again. Look for 4 Democrat House seats to go GOP in November.
