From the waist down to her ankles she looks bigger than I am and I am a six foot four, two hundred and seventy pound man.

Was she a "No" vote because the bill did not mandate single-payer?

My guess is this is a yes vote, and so the house will do nothing to remove her from office, or open any sort of investigation, or threaten her in any way.But if Federal Corruption Charges come to fruition they still going to let her vote? With all do respect you have got to be kidding me. The out cry would be as loud as anything the Tea Parties have done to date. Ditto that if Conyers goes that route.
Where is honor? Obviously none amongst thieves, because if charged they should have least have the decency not to vote.

The congresswoman's son is former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, whose actions as mayor are being investigated by federal prosecutors.

Are there any politicians from Detroit that aren’t corrupt?

Maybe you all caught me in a bad mood, but I really can't stand coming here and seeing people make fun of what people (liberal ones) look like. It's in poor taste and doesn't reflect nicely on conservatives. I'd like to think that people can come here to find good discussion of issues and a few laughs, but not at someone else's expense. This just makes us look bad.
I've been a Freeper for many years, so don't anyone call me a troll or anything else. I love this place and it saddens me to see this stuff here.
Flame away if you must. I can take it.
To: cantfindagoodscreenname
You have your point, but it’s also true FR always has been irreverent, or many of the members are. Sometimes the directness provides a good laugh on an otherwise dark day.
Some goofs on appearance are mean, others on Pelosi, Hilary, Reid, Obama are just irresistable.

Things are really heating up behind the scenes of the healthcare agenda. It sounds like a possible warning to the whackaloons before the vote. But it's hard to tell which side the warning is coming from.

The MOST honest, ethical and transparent Congress in HISTORY!I thought Pelosi was going to 'drain the swamp' instead of fill it up with live bait!

She’s filling up the swamp alright but it isn’t live bait; it’s all the floaters and sinkers that make up the democrat congress.

To Gruppenführer Pelosi:
when you are up to your ass in alligators, it is difficult to remember that your initial objective was to drain the swamp.”
