Eric Massa Story Gets Uglier: "Unwanted Advances" in Navy Posted by Brian Montopoli
The strange story of recently-resigned House Democrat Eric Massa has gone from bad to worse: The Atlantic's Josh Green reports that Massa was "notorious for making unwanted advances toward subordinates" during his 20-year Naval career.
One former shipmate tells Green that Massa offered subordinates "Massa Massages." Another said a drunken Massa, his senior officer, groped him while he was sleeping. Green's piece also includes a story in which Massa's roommate was subject to inappropriate behavior.
"When you're on ship, you're almost exhausted 24-7," Peter Clarke is quoted as saying in the piece. "So a lot of times you sleep with your uniform on. Tom and Massa shared a stateroom together. Massa climbed up on the top of his bunk, which is hard to do--you never crawl up on somebody else's bunk. He wakes up to Massa undoing his pants trying to snorkel him."

Ok, so the guy has a history of playing grab-ass with his male buddies. Big deal. He recognized he fell short of expectations and did the honorable thing by resigning. Charlie Rangel, Bill Clinton, William “Cold Cash” Jefferson, and a host of others have committed far worse offenses, yet they took the “lie, deny and stay the course” option.
Massa may have some problems but honesty and integrity are not amongst them. Simpletons like Glenn Beck seem to be unable to comprehend the concept.

It doesn’t take a hell of a lot of imagination, does it?
Anybody check to see if Massa and Admiral Mullen ever shared a bunk?

I hope it wasn't one of those dangerous submarine drag races with a female occifer in command. Oh never mind, they don't have the fems in the subs (yet).

All may be true but I hope you all see they are burying this guy because he became a threat. Suddenly stuff he did 20 years ago is an outrage.
And yeah, don’t ask don’t tell shouldn’t be repealed because gay officers and gay cliques are going to harass enlisted personell.
Funny how none of this prevented them from putting him in Congress as a good democrat, until now. And how people he groped 20 years ago weren’t willing to come forward until now.
Not saying they are lying, just that it’s fine to be a closet gay if you are a good democrat soldier as well.
Uh, I thought the Dems were for this kind of stuff.
