It's early, but Mitt Romney still seems intent on repeating his mistaken 2008 handling of the abortion issue. Here he was today on "Imus in the Morning":

But I don’t automatically feel loyalty to a politician because he may be LDS.

Glad to hear it, I wish more of your co-religionists felt the same.

Previously he had given a rather tear-jerking story about why he was committed to abortion rights; Mitt Romney naturally was lying when he told that story.
"''Many years ago, I had a dear, close family relative that was very close to me who passed away from an illegal abortion," Romney said in a debate with Kennedy. ''It is since that time my mother and my family have been committed to the belief that we can believe as we want, but we will not force our beliefs on others on that matter. And you will not see me wavering on that." Last week, Romney's sister, Jane, recalled that the girl Romney cited in the debate was a teenager engaged to marry a relative of the Romneys' extended family."

...I think he was probably always pro-choice. If hes pro-life now however thats a positive change, no? You are calling him a liar? He says that he was not pro-choice.

I wouldn't say it's hate. Most conservatives do not hate Mitt Romney. I know most of us do not want him as president. What bothers me is he flips so much on issues it would make John Kerry blush.

...I think he ran as a pro-choice Republican when he ran for the Senate and when he ran for governor. I think he's been clear that he's changed his position. I heard him say so on an interview with Chris Wallace this week. What I am trying to determine is why that's apparently a bad thing for so many here, shouldn't his change be regarded as progress?
Is the concern that he is secretly pro-choice? That he would not appoint a pro-life justice were he to become president? Or that he wouldn't oppose federal funding for abortions were he to become president?
To: Jim Robinson
Bravo. Bout time he was zotted. Continually made excuses for why abortion was acceptable.
Kaboom!

You are calling the man a liar yourself about something so simple as to whether he was pro abortion all of his life until the start of preparation for the 2008 primary. You are studiously avoiding the truth of him being a compulsive liar and the biggest sleaze in Republican politics as mentioned in posts 49, 80, and 82, conservatives do not believe his massive series of instant conversions.
People do not believe Mitt Romney is truthful about anything, but more and more are starting to think that they can believe his past life before he started running for the 2008 primary.
