Can anyone here help me wrap my head around this one? I'm baffled, too. The 870 is a great shotgun, but I wouldn't want to go into combat with one unless it was all I could get my hands on. It probably is the least expensive model though at $357.99.

How come? Are you more partial to auto-loaders?
I'm in the market for a good shotgun so just wondering. I want something for all around purposes, 3-gun competitions, home defense, SHTF.
