DATE: Jan 10, 04:39 PM By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

HONG KONG –

SNIPPET: "The victims, including children and tourists..."

SNIPPET: "The liquid was thrown on them Saturday night near Temple Street, a densely populated district known for its outdoor shops and restaurants in the city’s Kowloon area.

Hong Kong has seen a series of similar attacks since December 2008 that have injured more than 100 people."

SNIPPET: "The suspect, described as a Chinese man in his 30s, was arrested after authorities found him on the roof a nearby building along with caps to the bottles believed to have been used in the attack, said police spokeswoman Michelle Mak.

The suspect has not been formally charged, and the investigation is ongoing, Mak said. She did not say if he was also suspected in other attacks."

Only popular tourist sites I saw when I was there was the bars for the sailors of the Navy. They were, however, pretty popular.

SNIPPET: “HONG KONG - AN ACID-FILLED beer bottle was thrown onto a street in the same area in Hong Kong for the fourth time in six months, police said yesterday, fuelling speculation about a serial attacker.

The latest attack is the 12th in a series of attacks in Hong Kong - eight in urban areas and three in the New Territories - since December 2008, which have injured more than 100 people, the South China Morning Post reported.

In the attack on Sunday evening, at least one male pedestrian was wounded when the Blue Girl beer bottle, filled with what police termed ‘a strong acid’, was thrown from a building in Sham Shui Po into Apliu Street, the Post said.”

Just a note: Not Islamobastardism...as far as I can tell. Probably just a domestic nut case with some kind of ax to grind against society.

Glad they are catching those sons of bitches, though.

Acid in the face! Ouch!!! Look out belowwwwwwwww!!!!
