Pulling no punches this morning on GMA the White House Press Secretary added: Were focused not on crazy allegations but instead on making this system work for the American people rather than work for insurance companies.
Gibbs also took up the olive branch offered by anti-abortion Democrat Bart Stupak, saying the President is willing to pursue a new negotiated solution to the impasse over abortion funding: I think theres no doubt we can come to a solution that maintains the rules that are in place that federal funds are not used for abortions while protecting a womans right to choose.

Hearing about Stupak this morning..his willingness to deal..was a punch to a stomach. The dems are going to win on this one aren’t they.
“The lady, she protests too much”
Alinsky:
Ridicule is mans most potent weapon. It is almost impossible to counterattack ridicule. Also, it infuriates the opposition, who then react to your advantage.
Hm. I heard he said one time “do whatever it takes”.
so is he denying this report?
My Mother taught me, “where’s there smoke there is fire”.
His story is a little out there, but something happened!
This is so true. I submit Dan Quayle as a prime example. His career was ruined because the press played along in making him a laughing stock.
So is the WH administration!
“This is not a bill about abortion, this is about health care reform,” Gibbs said. “I think there’s no doubt that we can come to a solution that maintains the rules that are in place.”
What does that mean?
That sounds to me like an admission that Dems who opposed Obamacare are to be destroyed.
Glenn Beck’s TV show this afternoon should be enlightening.
More popcorn!
No federal funding of abortion? Those are probably to “rules in place” he is referring to. Stupak is going to cave.
Stephy assists Gibbs on the ridicule attack ahead of Massa’s interviews on Beck and Larry King.
Look, you people. Give up on this Stupak guy already. His entire "amendment" was just a shell game in the first place to give cover to wimpier Rats voting for a rotten bill anyway. Now he'll give the whole thing up. Integrity? Please. Now repeat after me...STUPAK IS A RAT.
Capische?
They made Dan Quayle out as a fool, and made algore as a genius.............
So passing a MANDATE that EVERY AMERICAN buy an insurance policy from an INSURANCE COMPANY doesn’t “WORK” for insurance companies!! GEE, I’d LOVE a Government Mandate that You Buy What I’m Selling!! THIS IS SUCH A FARCE!!!
